I doubt if I would back every liberal thing that get's right up your nose or sticks in your throat but I would place a bet upon disagreeing with you on a lot of things, guns being one, but I am also not so stupid that I consider my views to be the right ones.
We have a lovely person here at Adland that constantly brings me information about the rubbish in my food, the chemicals on my kitchen work surfaces, mold and the effects of medicines on my nervous system etc.
I could not care less, life's too short to worry, BUT, I love it that she cares enough to bring this info.
If nobody ever objects to things then we get what we all deserve for not caring.
So, mad or not, these liberals ensure a balance.
I love redneck right wing entrepreneurs if they get things moving forward but I also have time for the liberal that hangs on to the tail of his horse and makes life a little difficult.

Hello to my favorite non mental liberal, Sir Roger, I use sir for respect.

Libertarians tend to do the same thing, as do Independents, two camps I am sure I fit into and yes we believe in social liberalism as long as you aren't reaching into my pocket and forcing me to do something that comes natural to most folks.

Its those liberals that take every handout available and then whine when "Other People's Money" runs out they yell for higher taxes on those same poor spent out souls.

What makes liberals assume they are on higher ground or that they are the only ones with the "#Right" answers and then accuse others of intolerance and rigidity towards those that may be in need. Here in America I am speaking of nut cases like Nancy Pelosi that ramrods bills she has no clue herself what they have in them and then multiple times in an election year, LIES about what they are trying to do.

Yes, American Liberalism is a mental disorder you can see the lunacy in their eyes, just look at Pelosi and that Jackson Lee woman, its obvious, they have mental illnesses.

My good friend and liberal, if they are patterning our form of governance after Britain and Europe we are SUNK! Just my personal opinion.

Liberals need to wake up and realize throughout history they have been on the wrong side of it.

I do understand your point about Britain and Europe.
We have inherited the horrible blame culture and the accident insurance legislation from the USA which keeps our courts too busy, however, the liberal health and safety issues in Britain are going too far. The funny thing is. Europe agrees the rules but only Britain seems to implement them fully. We now have plumbers/gas fitters who won't work alone in case they should be gassed or builders who have to charge more for scaffolding than they charge for actual structural work and policemen who are not allowed to jump into a lake to save somebody.
These things just go toooooooo far.
