	Thank you, Roger. I hardly knew this great Russian artist, yet his art finally conquered me. I deeply admire him and also admire the fact that his love for art was stronger than any pessimism born of suffering. Here is his grave in the Moscow's Vagankovo cemetery as shown at Wikipedia. Alexei Savrasov's gravestone
