	Roger and friends, I may still find one or two more works to post (which I will probably do), but to all effects, I am afraid that this thread has come to an end with this beautiful landscape of uncertain date. 	Well, I have just found yet a few more outstanding paintings by Alexei Savrasov that absolutely deserve to still be shown on this thread - they are so very special. Let me please begin with this early masterpiece in his career. Alexei Savrasov - Clearance (black and lead pencil on tinted paper, c.1850)

	Another wonderful, early drawing completed by Savrasov many years before the tragic loss of his daughter. Alexei Savrasov - Forest near the lake, illuminated by the sun (black and lead pencil on tinted paper, 1856)

	Yet another wonderful drawing of trees near a lake but completed in 1867, a date much closer to Savrasov's tragic loss. Alexei Savrasov - Oaks on River Bank (black and lead pencil on tinted paper, 1867)
