So, I thought I would be smart and subscribe to a bunch online ezines in my area of interest. Well, here I am almost three months later. I've subscribed to 42 ezines. To date I have not even received one ezine, notification or even an inkling of an indication that one is on the way. ========================================= Hmm. Very interesting. A hole in the marketplace. What a rare find. And there's 17,764 searches a month for the term that's third on your list. Sounds to me like you could do well with a newsletter on that topic. : ) Linda

Linda, In doing this exercise, I've become concerned that I have blinders on regarding news and alternate viewpoints in my main interest. I think I probably should be reading more, whether magazines or other information. I think I know where to find the material...now where would you suggest I find the time? lol Will do my best to finish up the exercise and get 'homework' to you by end of day tomorrow. I'm knee-deep in tax work, my fault. I have a great resource for keeping track of deductions as they happen, but my constant state of overwhelm makes me procrastinate on using it. Now here I am playing catch-up for the whole year. Arggghhh!!! Cheri

As long as you don't confuse "wearing blinders" with "lazer focus." They aren't the same. Focusing on one thing isn't the same as wearing blinders to other options. From knowing you, I'd have a hard time thinking you wear blinders about very much. You're pretty open minded... more so than a lot of people I've worked with. Of course, you're the best judge. You know yourself better than anyone else. Mostly I just wanted to be sure you're not confusing focus with blinders. When I read your post, I wrote the "misfits" thread. It was the first thing that popped into my head. I think you'll enjoy it. : ) Linda
