Water Is Life
Rev Martha Quintana, Senior Minister
This weekend I join a think tank of people from all walks of life, culture, and tradition in discussion about the state of water in New Mexico. What questions do we need to be asking and how do we restore the waters of New Mexico to an abundant, drinkable quality for all of us?
There is One Life, One Good, One Unconditional Love. This Loving Source is so vast, so incredible, so creative that Its very thought brings forth life. It thinks and creates a planet. It thinks and creates a galaxy. It thinks and the heavens come into play, and It thinks and all the resources we need to live is created. It’s thought created you and me.
Each of us is the thought of this Loving Source and we are imbued with its creative powers. We are able to co-create our lives and like Loving Source, we think and create. Knowing this, I affirm and declare the good in my life.
I affirm and declare that there is enough water for all New Mexicans, and any appearance of shortage, pollution, and drought drops away never to appear again. Our water sources are abundant and pristine. We all have the water necessary to drink and be healthy. We have the water we need for our everyday lives and for traditional uses by traditional people.
These water supplies continue for all generations after us. I am so grateful.I am so grateful for the people who love so deeply that they want everyone to live in health.
I give thanks for the plentiful water in New Mexico and, most of all, I give thanks for the peace that exists within all of us as we become aware of our own water uses.
We are blessed and I am grateful. I release this word with the knowledge that it is done.
And So It Is.
Amen.
