 Hi all,
In the bible, we are told that in the time of Noah, GOD became angry with the people on Earth. He then commanded Noah to build an Arch and in that Ark he should gather all the animals on Earth in pairs, male and female, and secure them in the Ark. There are to key elements here. It was never mentioned how long it took Noah to gather these animals, nor if he had help doing so. The other key element is that {On the Earth} was specified, not and in the seas or in the air, just the Earth was specified. Once this task was done, GOD told Noah to gather his family not stating how many people were in his family. As Noah was old at the time, his family count could have been in the hundreds or thousands. Once the tasks were accomplished we are told that it rained for forty days and forty nights. We tend to think in terms of one day equaling 24 hours, however even if the rains came down in torrents, this time period would not be sufficient to cover the entire planet with rain, however, if we think in terms of each day equaling one thousand years, as GOD would be thinking in terms of the entire Cosmos, not just one planet as He created all of the worlds, not just one, it would be a sufficient amount of time for the entire planet to be submerged. I believe there was a passage that touched on the fact that the Ark began to get crowded. This would be due to the fact that time did not stand still. Animals, domestic and wild mated and had offspring, provided food for the members of Noah's family. There had to be areas on the Ark where food for the animals and humans were grown, plus I imagine that they would be carrying on a daily routine of fishing as well. As all of this was taken place, those left on Earth were going through evolutionary changes. I don't believe that the people, even back then would say, "Oh well. We are going to drown." they would dig in, go to the lowest level of caves, and do whatever they could to save their lives. Even those swept away with the tide would cling to the nearest rocks or branches. While most did perish, I believe that the evolutionary process began in earnest, and that at least a small portion of the population evolved into sea creatures. Many people will laugh at this observation however there have been a lot of discoveries over the past few years of strange sea creatures being washed up on shores that had remnants of human body parts indicating that at one time in their past, their ancestors walked on land. Many reptiles have the ability to breathe on land as well as in the seas. Mermaids have been described as having Dolphin Tails. There have been countless stories of how dolphins have saved the lives of people from sinking ships and it is obvious that dolphins are much more intelligent then a lot of humans. The most intriguing fact of all is that a large number of non human amphibians and even some plant life have been found to contain at least a small amount of human DNA in their genes. Therefore, many creatures that we commonly refer to as aliens may not be extraterrestrial at all. They may be our ancestors from the great flood. I am not sure why a human would want to mate with a fish to begin with, however survival does cause one to change their way of thinking.
An image taken by NASA a few years ago spotted a large object on the top of a mountain in Tibet that they say would confirm the existence of Noah's Ark. However, the government of Tibet refuses to allow excavation of the area.
