This is good question. We are not planning to send notifications by email, as each time a new member would join, 200 emails would be sent. We will create status which you will be able to check upon logging into the site and see what has happened in respect to your account.

This Feature is not to build a list to spam these new signups.
Please keep within the rules of the adlandpro community.

There could be Drawbacks and Benefits to you as a volunteer i do not need to mention so choose for yourself if this is for you.

Hello Everybody,

We have not discussed this but it is in the works that with 100 of new friends we will add also concept of 100 followers. Followers means that whenever you make a post, those who follow you, will be notified that you have made a post with a link to the place where post was made.
Is this something of value to the program? Would you like that those new members who are automatically becoming your friends, also become your followers and vice versa (you will follow them)? Friends the same as followers can be removed.

In addition if you are a member of a private forum, only your followers who are members of this forum will be notified about your post in this forum.
