Happy Sunday Helen. I have read this is a hoax but you know as well as I do that may or may not be true. I do know I am reading more and more everyday about voter fraud and the number of voters totaling greater than the number of registered voters, so go figure. I also know people voted against everything the Bible teaches but I just keep reminding myself that God is control. Have a wonderful day. :)

Hi everyone

Isn't this something else ....if true.

Whose vote should count if not the guy or gal who puts their life in danger.

Military Absentee Ballots Delivered One Day Late, Would Have Swung Election For Romney

by drew on November 7, 2012 · 254 comments

Military Absentee BallotsWASHINGTON, DC – Sources confirmed today that hundreds of thousands of military absentee ballots were delivered hours after the deadline for them to be counted, with preliminary counts showing that they would have overturned the vote in several states and brought a victory for Governor Mitt Romney.

Officials say the ballots were delivered late due to problems within the military mail system. Tracking invoices show the ballots sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan. At Camp Dwyer, Marine Sergeant John Davis signed for them and was surprised at the contents.

“I told Gunny we got a bunch of ballots instead of ammo,” Davis told investigators earlier today. “He told me to file a report of improper delivery and that the chain of command would take care of it. We didn’t hear anything for three weeks. While we were waiting we came under fire so we dumped a bunch of them in the Hescoes. We didn’t dig those ones back out.”

After military officials realized the initial error, the ballots were then sent back to the U.S. but suffered a series of setbacks.

Twelve boxes of ballots were dropped overboard during delivery to the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) in the Persian Gulf, then while the ship sailed to Bahrain, postal clerks allegedly pocketed whatever ballots they wanted.

The remaining absentee ballots were loaded onto a C-130, but the flight was delayed until November 1st so the crew could get tax free pay for the month. Once the ballots arrived stateside they were promptly mailed to each state’s counting facility, reaching their final destination on November 7th.

“It’s a shame,” Rear Admiral John Dawes said when asked for comment. “I expected a delay so I ordered that everyone cast their votes eight months ago. It’s really unfortunate that our mail system failed us and directly affected the course of history.”

Upon hearing the news, angry Republicans have begun a demand for a recount, but most military absentee voters have shrugged off the news, with many wondering whether the care packages their families sent six months ago were ever going to show up.

Mary Evelyn,

I'd also like to know why people are referred to as "haters" when having a different opinion? The word came into popularity around the year 2000 in urban slang, I first remember hearing Mariah Carey saying it on an MTV interview when she was having a meltdown about tabloids and fans saying bad things about her.

As dangerous a practice as it has proven to be, I still can’t help but finding amusement in the political left’s Orwellian employment of the term “hate.” Nearly every conservative or libertarian with a social media account has experienced liberal flameage and accusations of being a “hater” upon casually expressing any number of conservative or libertarian opinions.

If you believe in secure borders, or English being the official language in the US, you’re a hater. If you don’t support the oxymoron of “gay marriage” and practical labs in homosexual foreplay being conducted in grammar schools, you’re a hater.

The irony of the left being the most hateful and intolerant group of people on the planet is not lost on conservatives and libertarians. Some of the most blatant and newsworthy examples of this surfaced during the recent election cycle, when certain Hollywood celebrities endorsed Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

The left’s gutter invective and vitriol in public and cyberspace (in particular) are painfully evident to all, save for those spewing it. Sadly, with a Marxist administration in power and complicit press, these inconsistencies are left for those Americans still possessed of critical thinking skills to consider among themselves.

While I do believe that voter fraud and possibly electronic tampering played a part in the victory of Barack Obama and other Democrat office holders in the recent election, the fact is that a whole lot of Americans have bought into liberal-socialist doctrine, even though it resides at the intellectual level of most six year-olds. Many liberal Americans don’t realize (for reasons I’ve belabored previously) that Obama is a dedicated Marxist, and what this portends for them and their progeny. They believe what Obama says, rather than what he does, even with proof to the contrary.

Others simply do not care; they have been sufficiently indoctrinated into a shallow, narcissistic, predatory worldview by American educators and media. They possess little knowledge of their country, its history, or its formerly unique place in the world. The unfortunate long-term consequences of their actions (and their votes) will ultimately be blamed on something or someone else – perhaps former President George W. Bush, or Ronald Reagan.

In answer to liberals’ charges of being a hater: Yes, I am a hater. I hate duplicity, deceit, cheating and theft. I hate what is being done to my country, and the suffering being caused in the name of bastardized concepts of justice. I hate communism and socialism, because they have caused more human suffering and death than any other political systems. I hate ignorance, because it facilitates otherwise intelligent, decent people falling prey to these harmful philosophies. I hate delusion so deep that people can see and feel the blade twisting in their bodies, yet believe the man holding the knife when he says that he is not in fact stabbing them. I hate laziness, because it makes people susceptible to the lies of the left, which appeal to human beings’ indolence and baser nature.

I don’t hate the stupid, though. If one is born stupid, they can’t help it; denigrating them for being stupid would be like denigrating someone for being ugly. There but for the Grace of God, you know. Stupid and arrogant can be a nasty combination, however, and a lot of stupid people are arrogant because they’re too stupid for introspection. In other words, they don’t have the capacity to recognize that they’re wrong. A lot of liberals are stupid and arrogant, as you might have surmised. Cogitation within the liberal paradigm just isn’t intellectually demanding, so obviously it would appeal to the stupid. And yes, I do hate arrogance.

Lastly, I hate cowardice and greed, because they have corrupted so many in a position to curtail the effects of the progressive cancer that has infected our society.

So yes, I’m a hater – and proud of it. I hate those things which are themselves hateful.

Kathleen, that is all they can come up with because they don't have real answers or they don't want to admit they're wrong and it's not just in politics either, it's in everyday life. Whenever you disagree with some people that is their only defense and we've been seeing a lot of that lately.

There's a lot of people in ignorant bliss who won't know what happened when the bottom falls out and it's going to happen much sooner than most people realize. Companies that had held off in cutting jobs now have no other choice if they want to stay in business and sadly even then a lot of them will go bankrupt. I'm sure too that there will even be some who will rejoice over that. We really are a country divided and I have no idea how that can be changed unless we go through a period of extremes and even that probably won't convince a lot of them, especially now when the majority of people are saying right is wrong and wrong is right.

The sooner progressives and the media bring America to its knees, the sooner the people who know better can put the nation back on its feet

Changing Demographics? More Like Enduring Ignorance

- Arnold Ahlert Saturday, November 10, 2012
By now, you’ve heard from most of the chattering classes as to why Democrats in general, and Barack Obama in particular, did so well on election night. You’ve heard about changing demographics, an opportune storm, media malfeasance, etcetera, etcetera, ad nauseam.
Let me make it much simpler. On election night, for the umpteenth time, I went to the local food mart, and gave the high school kid working the register a five dollar bill for something that cost $2.32. She punched it into the computer, after which I gave her the thirty-two cents. By now, most of you know where this is going: the dazed look, alternating between the change and me, as if I’d handed her the Dead Sea Scrolls and demanded a translation on the spot. Of course if I’d used that analogy to make light of the moment, it wouldn’t have mattered: these kids aren’t just mathematically illiterate, they wouldn’t know what the Dead Sea Scrolls are either—unless it was the name of a new app for their I-phones.
On the way home, I had the radio on. Without a trace of embarrassment or irony in his voice, the newscaster spoke about a mock vote taken at the local high school. “Barack Obama won in a landslide,” he gushed. After two generations of leftist indoctrination by unionized educators, whose quid pro quo relationship with the Democrat party is written in stone, I don’t doubt it for a minute. Nor was I particularly shocked earlier this year when I wrote about three kids in their late teens and early twenties, who couldn’t place the date of the Civil War within the 50-year spread I gave them to do so. Literacy? If it can’t be reduced to 140 characters for Twitter’s sake, it no longer matters.
None of this is particularly new. In fact, when I taught reading and study skills in NYC schools thirty years ago, it was exactly the same. Those “kids” are now in their 40s. The only thing that semi-shocked me back then was the fact that most of them were no longer ashamed of being ignorant. In fact, many of them were proud of their cluelessness. Now, most of them barely know what shame is, other than having someone say something bad about them on FaceBook. And pride is all about owning the latest gadget, replacing the gadget that replaced the gadget before that.
There’s your so-called demographic. We’ve become a nation with a majority of weak-thinkers, allied with those more than willing to do their thinking for them, as long as they get “free stuff” in return. What is the minority offering as an alternative? Freedom.

Unfortunately, freedom is hard. For one thing, it requires critical thinking skills. For another, it requires effort. Tyranny is easy. Just do whatever someone tells you to do, whether it’s a bureaucrat—or a cash register. What was this election really all about? We are now certain that it is impossible to change the trajectory of nation comprised of millions of people who can’t make change.

As a result, I have a suggestion for the Republicans, one they won’t hear from anyone else: give Barry and Company everything they want, without an iota of resistance. Let ‘em raise taxes and the debt ceiling, gut the military, and run up trillions of dollars of additional deficits and debt. Then stand back, and let an utterly corrupt media chronicle the demise—without being able to pin an ounce of the ensuing socialist catastrophe on an “obstructionist” GOP.

Harry Reid wants to end the filibuster? Tell him it won’t be necessary. For the next four years, Republicans will do what a certain Senator from Illinois made a career of doing: they will simply vote “present” on every bill put before them in both houses of Congress. In effect, give Democrats they same unassailable majority they had in 2008—the same one that led directly to the passage of ObamaCare.

Radical? Compared to what? Watching a president get re-elected, despite four major scandals, the worst recovery on record, and the explosion of entitlements—all of which was blamed on the aforementioned Republican obstructionism? Being blamed for everything that will go wrong from 2012 to 2016, completely irrespective of reality or the truth?

It’s time to get real: the only thing Republicans can do is delay the inevitable. Why bother? The sooner progressives and the media bring America to its knees, the sooner the people who know better can put the nation back on its feet.

I know what you’re thinking. What about the hell we’ll have to go through between now and then? A couple of answers. First, it’s time for the voting majority to get exactly what they voted for—in spades. Second, and this applies not just to America, but to every socialist country that has also run out of other people’s money to spend: better an out and out meltdown and genuine recovery after two or three years, than the ongoing twilight of semi-misery we’re currently enduring. Misery that could last a decade more—or longer.

Any attempt to meet Democrats “half-way” is a fool’s errand. There is no split-the-difference, get along to go along, compromise that can be reached between tyranny and freedom. With respect to the rule of law and the Constitution, you’re either in or you’re out. A nation is either solvent or bankrupt. It is either exceptional or ordinary. The American majority voted for tyranny, bankruptcy and mediocrity.

Give the people what they want—until they can’t stand it anymore.
