You are very right about people running to the internet an pluging into companies and offers but have no business or tech training. =============================== You also very right about That's fact. According to the US census dept, over 95% of adults today will not be able to afford to support themselves at age 65 and will need to depend on family or government to take care of them. Sad, but true. ========================= ie: I am there my-self , it sure is not a nice place to be. Nor is it planned on my part. But after 2 heart attacks I can't pass a physcial for a "realjob". There 1000's in the same boat. Baby boomers like myself that due to health or company down-sizing , divorces just to name a few are facing retirement age with little or nothing. In my dad's od grand dads' day a man or woman could go to work and stay with a company 20-30 years and retire. Those days are long gone for most people. So I know the "real target market" are these people that has bee "Fire tested". They survived the fires of life now they are read to do what works to build a ture retirememnt income. So I am thankful for all the help I can get to really help others. Folks are hurting, fearful with little or no hope in the future. Produce real answer to real questions and the market will find you! Hello everyone, Linda's post was no less than perfect. She hit on all the subjects affecting many people. The internet was new territory for myself and took a few years of part time work to sort out the frauds and gurus. New technology is intimidating only if you don't try. Quick fixes are only quick profits for someone else who knows the ropes. To make a business work you need knowledge and the right sources of that knowledge. You are fortunate to be in the group. I have browsed thousands of sites and money making opportunities but the majority are not worth the time to click on. I spent about a year to date on my site project. To get this far I had to learn some html, web design do's and dont's How serach engines work, Search engine optimization, keywords, meta tags, site submission and more. I was, in fact, ready to quit before I began. You take it one step at a time and continue the education. One of our biggest downfalls is what I call a greed factor. We want money and will sometimes jump into anything without openeing our eyes and researching. That is a major reason why the internet so full of bad ideas. MOney will follow sucess. SO get educated, set realisitc goals and listen to Linda.
