Hi:
Happy New Year! :)
In other posts, I've mentioned a *treasure map* to success.
If you've visited my site, or know my work, you'll know I have a very high ratio of success with my clients.
A while back, my daughter asked an innocent question that became a challenge to me.
She said "You know, Mom, you have lots of success stories. Your clients are in newspapers and magazines. But what do you offer for people that can't afford a thousand dollars or more to work with you? What do you have for people like me? College kids and people who can't afford you... 'Cause, Mom, there's a lot of us, and we need help, too."
Those words cut to the bone, because I was there once, too. And, while I can help my own daughter, she's right. There's a lot of people that can't afford the help they so desperately need. When I got online over 10 years ago I was single mother and I couldn't have afforded someone like me, either. lol
Initially, I was going to offer a series of ebooks about the techniques needed to succeed online. I even released a few of the books... and sold some.
But, the more I thought about it, the less I liked putting out yet more books about internet marketing. There is a glut of them already. I didn't want to be just another person pumping internet marketing products.
Mostly, the reason I didn't want to be lumped into that class is that what I teach is different. You don't succeed doing what everyone else does. And, I don't believe in the whole "sales letter" approach, either. It's the least effective way to sell online.
What I teach is different - and I wanted to present it differently, too.
So.... I've been reworking all my materials into a step by step treasure map.
I am looking for a test group. I would like to see where the rough spots are. Where I've left unanswered questions, etc.
If you're interested in being part of that test group, just post back to let me know.
: )
Linda
P.S. Depending on how many people are interested, I can't promise to take everyone that's interested in the first round. If I get more interest than I think makes a workable sized first round test group, I'll figure out some manner of choosing the initial test group. But, for now, I want to see who is interested. : )
P.P.S. Cheri, you're in for sure since we're redoing your site.
