To all forum owners, please remove all images and any pages I have done of this site and for you. All my files and forums (ALP Help Center) have been deleted. The files I can't delete are still in ALP's affiliate pages and some forums that you have saved. You have two choices: One, pay for the ones you have live or delete all pages on any forum or affiliate linking you are using. I also ordered using my credits on one of the items. I will need confirmation that this was received and will be delivered.

Its time to do some cleaning up around here and I am pulling all files, linking, and pages in around here. I will need to see all images paid for or remover before I go into the next step.

Yes, it is great idea. It must be a design from Europe. I've seen some neat furniture and cabinets designs come out of Europe, particularly Germany and the Scandinavian countries.

You could even hide your mess if need be.

When I saw this on FB this morning, I thought what a GREAT idea. Makes so much sense and I would LOVE to have one. I like the idea of having everything within reach but when you're through, just close the doors and hide everything. A very ingenious idea.

Anyone else think this is a good idea??

Hi Evelyn

When our kids grew up, the movies and cartoons, for the most part, weren`t near as bad as they are today. I think some of them today are actually demonic. Even worse is some of the video games. One boy was so deeply into video games he wouldn`t even leave them to come and eat dinner. The parents tried everything to break his habit but were unsuccessful. He lost weight and his grades slipped. They finally took him to their pastor. The pastor suspected demons so as he prayed over the boy, he asked the name of the demon. The demon replied, ``Suicide``.

These games do not affect everyone in the same way but who wants to take the chance. My nephew tried to commit suicide. He didn`t succeed, thank God. Apparently his favorite pastime was listening to heavy metal music and rap some of which actually encourages the listener to commit suicide. We as parents don`t know this because we can`t stand to listen to the noise of it long enough to find out what the lyrics are and the kids wear earphones so parents don`t realize how bad all of this stuff is and how much listening they are doing. One could argue that a lot of kids listen to this stuff and they don`t try to kill themselves and they would be right. Actually, psychiatric drugs cause most of the suicides (or attempts) of teenagers.

Someone else mentioned that God told her that He withdraws when Star Wars was on TV. My daughter watched it all the time. I didn`t pay attention to it because I didn`t particularly like Star Wars. Now my daughter is into the New Age scene, astrology etc., which I consider to be demonic. Did it have to do with watching Star Wars? I have no idea.

Some of the worst things on TV and the internet are the more subtle shows because it is hard to tell if it is ok or not. I don`t have all the answers. I just know that I would hate to have to raise a kid today.

You mention toy guns. I don`t think it is the guns per se but then I don`t have the answer. All I know is that I was amazed how the little guy in the video copied almost all the dancers moves. It must have been a DVD he saw before because he would kick when they kick, lift his arms when they lifted theirs and he even bowed at the end when they bowed. He was hilarious. I think it was a Lawrence Welk show which one would think is harmless enough.

Taking your kids to church was probably what made them into the find adults they are today. I hope they are doing that with their families, too. Of course, it must have helped to have such a fine mom, too.

Question: What caused your step-son to become incapacitated?

Helen, what puzzles me is my kids watched action movies, cartoons and etc where guns were almost always part of the action, as did my nieces and nephews but none of them ever tried to harm anyone with a gun. They knew it was just that, part of whatever they were watching. I have photos of my son and stepson with their Christmas gifts of toy guns strapped around their waists in the holsters.

I think a big part of what is going on in today's world is because we have gotten so far away from God. I took all three of mine to church every Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night prayer service and now my son and daughter and their families still go to church but my stepson is disabled and not able to do much of anything. Now a lot of churches don't have the Sunday night and Wednesday night services.

Is it any wonder we've gotten to the point where so many now believe that right is wrong and wrong is right??

This one of those cute ... not from YouTube

This proves why we should be very careful what our babies
watch on TV. They copy everything. What he is watching on
TV is pretty harmless but imagine what this kid might be doing
if he saw violence. Granted he may not act out the violence
...yet ...but what about later.

Anyway, this is a fun video. Enjoy!

It`s time for love again!!

The 5 Love Languages®

Words Of Affirmation

Next time you are in your sibling's home, cover his or her bathroom mirror with sticky notes with positive adjectives written on them. Above these or in the middle, have several sticky notes together as a square with "YOU ARE..." written over it.

Acts Of Service

As the weather changes to chilly, offer to help your spouse pack up or set aside the previous season's clothes. This is one of those chores people often avoid, but once it's finished feels really nice. For extra Acts of Service points, make some hot cocoa or apple cider to sip while you work. This will most certainly warm things up!

Receiving Gifts

If your husband plays video games and has the time to do so responsibly, buy him a game you know he's been wanting to play. Load it up and leave it on the start menu just before he comes home for him to see. This will remind him that you care deeply about his interests and hobbies.

Quality Time

Although it sounds too obvious to point out, going to your childrens' extracurricular events as much as possible means a lot to them. Just knowing that you are present can assure them that you care.

Physical Touch

If you and a friend have a goofy sense of humor, come up with a secret handshake for each of you to learn that is long and even awkward. Enjoy the baffled looks you receive from those around you when they see it.
