Helen you do have a very good sense of humor and you have made me smile many times. :)

Hi Evelyn

Was William Arthur Ward talking about my strange sense of humor? O, I see he said, "A well-developed sense of humor". I guess it wasn't me.

Hi Evelyn

Yes, I remember Topo Gigio, the mouse puppet on the Ed Sullivan show.

I think a lot of people would remember Andy Kaufman as a stand-up comedian and he did a routine where he started out by saying, "My name is Jose Jumanius" or something like that. The J's sounded like an H. He was actually quite funny ...so much so that people would start laughing before he finished what he was saying. But he was a strange little man.

He was on the TV show called "Taxi" for a while.

One time when he was a guest on the David Letterman show, he acted very strange. When he started out his routine, he told the audience he was a homeless person and asked if they would give him some money. A number of them offered money which he went into the audience to collect. Then it looked like a security guard came and led him off and out of there. I don't know if it was a part of the show or not. It's on YouTube if you want to see it ...with a young David Letterman.

He died quite young in his 30's from cancer.

Hi Helen, yes, this was a very good Elvis impersonation and I was quite surprised because at the beginning of the video the guy sounded like Topo Gigio, the mouse. Remember him??

I really like this Elvis impersonation. I think it is one of the best I have seen.

You might have seen this before but it really is worth another look.

If you remember him from old time TV, you would never guess he could do something like this....

Hi Evelyn

Happy Easter to everyone!

Yes, it did say that it was a "mockumentary spoof". I was going to put that into my post but I forgot but it won't matter to Elvis lovers. If they want to believe he is still alive, nothing anyone says will make them believe he is dead.

I find some people do that with a lot of things. For example, they will easily believe there is a heaven but when you tell there is an awful place called hell and show them verses in the Bible and direct them to watch some videos about it on YouTube, they won't believe there is such a place. Well, I would like to believe that there is no hell, too, but I believe the Bible so I have to believe all of it.

Another thing people believe is going to happen is Nesara. I understand that Nesara is supposed to create a type of Utopia and I would love to see all the things they say is going to be but it will never happen. There is plenty of evidence that we are living in the last days before Jesus comes back to earth and the Bible says things will get progressively worse before Jesus comes. Now, it does say that Jesus will rule on earth for 1000 years after the Tribulation. That should be like a utopia, I suppose, but I don't think it will be Nesara. :))

If people living today want to be with Elvis in the hereafter, they should make themselves ready to meet their Maker. Yes, they should get saved, accept Jesus as their Savior. There is a chance that Elvis might be in heaven if he accepted Jesus at some time in his life. His mom was a born-again Christian, I think, and she had a lot of influence in his life. There also were some who talked to him about this.

I agree that 78 is possible for a lot people but I don't think Elvis could have done it with his lifestyle and the drugs and all.

Happy Good Friday ladies. Helen I wasn't all that crazy about Elvis either but I did like some of his songs and as far as this story on the website you gave Myrna, does say it is a "mockumentary spoof" which indicates that it is not a true story but then maybe I am just reading it wrong. IF and that is a big if, Elvis is still alive he would be 78 years old, not an unreasonable age. :)

Hello Myrna

Do you believe that story?

I liked Elvis but I wasn't really crazy about him or anything like that?
I have a friend who is crazy about him. Called her cat Elvis. If she had had a boy his name would have probably been called Elvis Elvis Elvis Jones.

He had a great voice and he looked great on stage but I didn't really care for most of his songs because it wasn't easy to sing along with them. Some of them were good for jiving, however.

Some people are so nuts about him, they have a Church of Elvis someone told me. I don't know if that is true or not.
