Hi Evelyn

That was a neat story about Johnny the bagger.

Hi Helen,
Now you are my kind of friend, not that the rest here aren't my friends, what I mean is I too love Elvis, and never cared for the Beattles. I hope you understand me, so I thank you.
Now don't anyone take offense cos, I love you all, but Helen is an Elvis fan. lol Evelyn, I know you like Elvis too. hummmmmm

Hi Amanda

The guy who sang "Don't Worry, Be Happy" was Bobby McFerrin, was it not? He's a black guy ...good looking, I might add. I never was a fan of the Beatles. I could never figure out what the big deal was with them. They weren't that great, imo. And those haircuts had to the ugliest. But Elvis on the other hand was something else.

Here's another video where Bobby McFerrin sings "Don't worry..."

If you go to YouTube, there's several videos with him in them.

This had a great inspirational message. I could see that the line up to Johnny's counter would be so much more fun for everyone involved as people would be talking with each other as they waited their turn discussing and sharing what their last message said.

I got this video from a friend sometime back and just rediscovered it a couple of days ago. It is supposed to be a true story, but regardless of whether it is or not, I think it will make you stop and think.

Hello Shirley,

Happy early birthday and congratulations with your new laptop that you can now interact in more comfort.

I did share an idea with Mike to set up your PC on a coffee table too should you want to try that route.

Shirley, it's wonderful to see you here and thanks so much for your congratulations. I won't be the only one that's happy either to see you grace this thread with your presence.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you an early Happy Birthday. Birthdays just seem to roll around much too quickly anymore, don't they and yes it would be great if we could look like we did 10 years ago when things weren't bagging and sagging as much as now, or at least that's the way it is in my case and I am also older than you are.

It's great you now have the laptop to use and hopefully now we'll see more of you. Have a wonderful week and enjoy that new laptop. :)

Hi, Mary Evelyn!

I am so glad to have this opportunity to finally stop by. I congratulate you on this great forum where you have received a lot of great responses and I love it. Thanks to my wonderful loving Husband Mike, I am able to be typing this response on my new laptop computer that he got for me for my Birthday gift. My Birthday is January 24th!!!! I will be 64 and I wish I looked like I did 10 years ago, but, the old wrinkles sure don't take long to come. Mike thinks that I am still beautiful. I am proud to say that I am a beautiful person down deep inside. I will try to stop by more often. Thank you for your Prayers! I Love You and God Bless You!
Love and Blessings

Hello Myrna,

I enjoyed listening to Elvis, yet I did not like to watch him at all even in his movies. - but there were several bands and soloists I felt the same way.

Often it was because I heard them many times before I ever saw them, as their movies were slower getting down to NZ, then their voices just did not live up to the image I had of their faces..

I hope it does not mean that I will be left out of your good graces now! *grin*
