Peter as I read this post, something just jumped out at me and I might be wrong, but the "thank you" for your reply to the initial pm, may very well hold the answer to this. I think you were duped into replying which gave her fuel to attack you with and try and put you in a bad light and make people think badly of you. Little does she realize it will probably back fire on her in the end as I think by her actions in posting a private message to the world wide web, she only succeeded in hurting the wrong people and shows her to have very little integrity. I guess this can be a lesson to all of us and that is to be very careful how we reply to a pm that comes from out of the blue from someone we barely know. I know that after reading this I will definitely be on my toes and look at them with more suspect. It's really sad to be made to feel that way. I know it's night time in Israel, so I hope you have a good one.

HI this is karen g sorry you feel that way .that is the reason I took my things down I did not what to cause a problem.I felt like I should not be there. do you ever come to my site ? no it is not all about me or you or any one person . you don't think what I posted or what you posted will hurt any ones feeling, you should of come and talked to me to find out why.not put it out for every one.I have my reason for feeling this way .and if I felt like it was all about me I would have taken my singing site down a long time ago. I wanted to but Pauline asked me not. Mike asked me to put some videos on Marys site. Hello Karen,

Yes I have been to your threads and listened to some of the videos (have you ever been to mine? (rofl) ) . I happen to love music and most of the songs I listened to in your threads actually offended my sensibilities and ear drums. Aside from Luis Miguel and Roger MacDivitt who are quite good the rest can barely carry a tune and are off tune most of the time. The worst part is everybody lying and saying how great it is. So I visit only when Luis or Roger post a song cos I quite enjoy them.

If people have fun doing what they're doing in your threads and Mike's then it's fine and dandy for you all but don't expect others to be constant visitors with the poor quality of music there.

I didn't post in order to hurt anyone's feelings but to express my surprise at your unjustified complaints and almost immediate deletions. Your complaints showed that it is all about you but that's your right to feel that way but don't expect others to play the pity me game with you.

Pauline asked you to keep the threads going??? And that's the only reason you kept them going? Sounds like a very weak excuse to me especially when you consider the volume of songs you post there all the time.

You haven't caused me any trouble at all Karen. I was simply amazed at your lack of consistency with posting and deleting all the time.

Your all caps do not impress me in the least nor does your jumbled post, bad grammar and spelling.

I like music and can tell when a person is off key and off tune. One doesn't have to know squat about singsnap to tell the difference between good music and bad. The fact that I find your singing to be in that category is nothing personal just my opinion.

Your reason for starting a confrontation here is not clear to me. When you send a PM and get a reply via PM even if there are disagreements it's between the 2 of us alone. You chose to publicize this and again your reasoning is not clear but neither are your rambling posts and PMs.

I'll carry on singing in the confines of my home and shower and you can carry on inflicting your off tune and off key music to the public at large.

I won't respond to any more of your diatribes cos it's simply not worth the effort replying to your gibberish.

Kathleen I hope you're joking and not suggesting that we tell each other lies just for the sake of complimenting someone. If I came to your house and you served me a dish I didn't particularly care for and you asked me how I liked it, I would not lie to you and say oh it is delicious when in actual fact it tasted like crap. I wouldn't say to you it tastes like crap, but I'd probably say it definitely tastes different, which would be the truth, and leave you to draw your own conclusions. :) If I ever give you a compliment you can rest assured it is sincere and to do otherwise would be dishonest. I know there are a lot of times we have to be diplomatic and not hurt someones feelings but giving them dishonest praise is wrong too and someday they will probably figure it out and then we'll lose face for telling them a lie. GREAT answer Amanda!! Kudos!! You are so right on target here. It starts at an early age and continues through life. Children are given awards, ribbons, trophies and etc so they won't feel bad because someone else, who had worked and earned it, or had a special gift or talent, got rewarded. We all have different talents and gifts and rewarding or praising someone who doesn't deserve it serves no purpose, actually it's a disservice to them. There are always going to be people who are just looking to be offended too, regardless. Again, thanks for your insightful answer.
