Hi Geketa, my friend and thanks for that wonderful video. You'll never know how much I enjoyed listening to it and reading the captions. No, there are lots of things in life that don't work out like we would like for them to, but as you say, God has everything under control and we just have to remember and keep reminding ourselves of that and above all, be patient and everything will eventually work out. :)

Hi Mary Evelyn an All,
I know things don't always work out as we plan but G-d has things under control, so it must have been for the best. Wishing your brother a speedy recovery. Relax and listen to this wonderful video
!
Shalom,
Geketa

"Jerusalem of Gold" (Hebrew: ירושלים של זהב‎, Yerushalayim Shel Zahav) is a popular Israeli song written by Naomi Shemer in 1967. The original song described the Jewish people's 2000-year longing to return to Jerusalem; Shemer added a final verse after the Six-Day War to celebrate Jerusalem's unification under Israeli control.
At that time, the Old City was under Jordanian rule; Jews had been barred from entering, and many holy sites had been desecrated. Only three weeks after the song was published, the Six-Day War broke out. The song was the battle cry and morale booster of the Israeli troops. Shemer even sang it for them before the war and festival, making them among the first in the world to hear it. On 7 June, the Israel Defense Forces captured the eastern part of Jerusalem and the Old City from the Jordanians. When Shemer heard the paratroopers singing "Jerusalem of Gold" at the Western Wall, she wrote a final verse, reversing the phrases of lamentation found in the second verse. The line about shofars sounding from the Temple Mount is a reference to an event that actually took place on 7 June.
This beautiful version is from the late OFRA HAZA.

Hello everyone, I've had a very stressful day today. My oldest brother had heart surgery beginning at 9:00 this morning and lasting until 3:00 this afternoon and I couldn't concentrate very well during this time. He's now out and everything seems to be fine. This was originally planned for next Thursday the 14th but the hospital called yesterday afternoon and told him to be there this morning. I had planned on going to Tennessee next week to be there during his surgery but sometimes plans get changed and we have no control over it but the good thing is it's now over with and he's on the road to recovery. :)

Hi Evelyn,

Good to hear your brother is doing well,.I will keep him in prayer.
If these 2 kids keep this up for 10 years, what do you think they will look like? Well I had to look up something. Look at these 2.little darlings.

Hi Myrna, thanks for your thoughts and prayers, I really appreciate them. These two aren't much more than babies but they sure are talented. Not sure but this may be a Russian talent contest. Maybe Lydia will see it and let us know whether it is or not. :)
