So do I Amanda, I just thought this one was very fitting to post after Helen's story. :)

I very much enjoy Ray Steven's humour in songs and his video's. I have watched and listened to them all.

Helen that was a hilarious story!! Reminds me of the song by Ray Stevens. Do you remember that song? If not, here it is to refresh your memory. :)

Aaaaaaaw, c'mon, Amanda. Just let it all hang out. I want to see you strut your stuff. Don't we, everybody!

You realize that this Naked Saturday was probably a ploy thought up by some man or men so they could get the women to take their clothes off.

It reminds me of one time when I took my daughter and her friend, Nicole for a bite at McD's. A guy ran through the front door to the back door wearing nothing but his boots and his winkie flopping in the breeze. I picked up one Nicole's limp potato chips and dangled it and said, "This is the streaker's winkie." Then I put it back with the rest of her chips. She loudly said, "I'm not eating that!"

Hello everybody

We all know what that means, don't we?

Evelyn, could you do a webcam video for us? We'll let you get out of going out on Saturday (March 10) if you would just send us one. Deal?

Helen

I'm not saying if I do or not. :)

Helen, I am definitely of the old school - I do not even run around naked in my own home and I am quite some distance from my neighbours who would not be able to see me..
James has no problem, and couldn't care less if someone saw him.. Maybe the difference between men and women..
Your response to the streaker in McDonalds made me laugh as that is probably the same response I would have too. I have never been at any event, shop, restaurant etc that this has happened.

Yes I guess it is but this was a team project, not an individual project, which does not make it unimportant in any way. All these kids are very bright and I am anxious to see how his team scores.

Congratulations, I reckon it would be a great buzz to see your grandson in the newspaper competing with his inventions. I hope he does really well, although just being selected and getting into the competition is an achievement in it's self.

When I lived in Tennessee I had added The Knoxville News Sentinel's online version of their newspaper to my favorites and one of the first things I do when I get up in the morning, after I get a cup of coffee, is to turn on my computer and read it. Imagine my surprise this morning when I saw this photo of my grandson. He's my oldest grandchild and a very bright 15 year old. He was able to skip eighth grade and go right into high school and then after his freshman year he was accepted at the new STEM school that just opened this school year. (Yes I'm a very proud grandmother.) :)

This is a two day competition, yesterday and today, so the winning team hasn't been announced yet.

Lydia the robot is built by the kids on each team from the different schools. I'm sure there has to be some ready made parts but not sure about that. These kids are some of our future inventors, I'm sure. Jonathan, my grandson, has been making things with leggos for some time now that are battery operated and the battery is of course purchased.

Great!

Is it homemade or ready-robot toy?

I guess there is no need to ask if Gramma is buying a print of that photo, is there.
