Helen I know first hand about people becoming addicted by prescription drugs, not me, but someone in my family. And then after you become addicted the doctors try to get rid of you, they no longer want you as a patient. Again, this is something I have witnessed first hand. There is a lot of blame to go around, first being the drug companies, who introduce each new drug to come on the market and secondly the doctors, who don't seem to be bothered by prescribing this crap and then the patient, themselves.
