Amanda we must have posted about the same time about Whitney Houston's death as I did not see yours when I posted mine.

Here are a couple more of Whitney's songs.

Amanda could you share your recipe for your kitchen/bathroom cleaner? Since I have hard water, the scum in the shower is really hard to remove and a lot of these things you buy make my asthma flare up if I'm not careful.

Amanda I don't know if you've seen this site or not but there are several recipes for shampoo here and right across the top where it tells the different ones you'll see where you can download a pdf file to print off and the second link is for shampoo and conditioner.

Evelyn, yes I have lavender too which is one of my all time favourite smells. I will put that in next.
I still have to find a shampoo home recipe that looks promising, so far no luck.
I have made my own kitchen/bathroom cleaner which is really cutting through the grease, soap scum better than any bought verity and no harmful chemicals and smells.
This has been fun.

Shower / kitchen cleaning spray
What you’ll need:

24 oz. water
½ cup hydrogen peroxide
½ cup rubbing alcohol - or I used mouth wash with alcohol for my 1st batch because I did not have any rubbing alcohol.
2 tsp. Dawn or other dishwashing liquid
2 tsp. automatic dishwasher rinse such as JetDri (I haven't any so left this out)

I am a little in the same boat making my own shampoo as I do not have the Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) to make liquid soap, whether I go this route, or just buy in castile liquid soap for the base. I have to buy over the internet either way cause no one stocks them in this area. Decisions, decisions..LOL
