Caught red handed. Newt is a Mr New World Order. Did you hear he supports 'global warming'? which is a huge hoax and scam to steal more money from the tax payers.

This is part of a series about how many corporations and corporate gov't rip us off. They had light-bulb 100 years ago that would last 100 years, while today's bulbs only last about 1000 hours, since the light-bulb cartel punishes those who make longer-lasting bulbs. This conspiracy should be illegal under anti-trust laws, so I'm surprised that someone didn't go to jail for that.

It's part of planned obsolescence that many corporations design into their products.

Hello Michael,

A very interesting video uncovering the origins. (what is this doing in Ron Paul thread? it needs its own don't you think?)

I had not thought of 'deliberate' and planned obsolescence. - just junky materials, mass production and style fads. It gave me a whole new prospective on how much control the population has been under - I reckon we have a choice of whether we want to change our products often or buy good quality to last longer. Not everyone is focused about style and fads.

You see a lot of wasted stuff here in the States that is still new to look at but they don't work and going off to the land fills, which has bothered me greatly because of all the plastics and other materials that do not break down and decompose naturally. Bring back the Industrial Hemp (my forum ) would eradicate this problem - but the Govt won't

Adverts with mind control / brain washing secretly embedded to target their audience to consume and buy more of their products should also be brought out into the light of day and prosecute the offenders.

The US does love their 'stuff' In many areas you will see vehicles parked in the driveway outside their garage because their garage is so full of stuff there is no room for their vehicles!

You bring up a good point - I agree that it does come under an 'anti trust law' or some other wording.. however the rub is..Not many people have been aware that deliberate and planned obsolescence was/is happening.
