This was just an experiment.

Painting from a LIVELY animal is VERY difficult. Lulu didn't stop still.

Also, I used gouache which is very strong watercolour, hence, the lack of tonal differences.

This is our 5 month old Lulu puppy.

Painted in about 15 minutes a few days ago.

I don't think you did too bad for a puppy that would not be still. Oh, but that is what makes puppies so much fun. They never are still.
