Yes Roger,

A
s you know, I have always been an admirer of Oriental sacred texts. One of the teachings you may find there says that when the end of a great cyclic age is near, both the best and the worst occur everywhere in the world at an unparalleled scale. An example of the best in cases like the one we are commenting on, where the general population have to suffer from the consequences of decisions taken by politicians and other powerful people, is, in my opinion, the current growing awareness of those same people who are at last reacting at the clamorous unfair conditions that they have had to endure all over the world - not to mention the possibilities that the use of the Internet provide for all to learn about almost everything almost instantaneously and to act almost instantaneously as well. Examples of the worst we have seen to occur in the last couple of years and they are simply outraging. I mean cases like the BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico and now this one of the nuclear plants in Japan.

In this latter case, I find it hard to believe that the people behind the creation of nuclear facilities were not aware of the massive danger involved for the population at the time they approved them. No human-made thing in the world can be absolutely safe as they said those facilities were, especially considering they had advisors who in turn had scientists supporting them who must, or at least should, have known better than that. However, they had them built all the same. I believe it always is money and huge financial gains that are behind decisions of this sort.

Or take the infamous global monetary crisis that even now only the poorer in the world have to pay for, where precisely those who caused it have been helped out by their government.

Yet as Mike has pointed out in his brilliant analisys above, we as a race should be awarded a prize in stupidity. Because even the rich and powerful of our planet, those who just out of greed have caused nearly all evils on it through history, cannot be said to be intelligent in the least. I think this time they have have gone too far and Mother Nature has begun to take revenge. And her children are beginning to open their eyes and to think and wonder why. As you say, in the great plan of things this event in Japan will prove significant.

Hugs,

Luis Miguel Goitizolo

P.S. Yes Mike, although the sky is always cloudy in the capital, that night the Moon was bigger and brighter in it. Even last night it was unusually beautiful and clear to watch.

Very wise words and observations Luis.

One thing that is true of this age is that there is no place for boredom.

The more we learn, the bigger the questions.

Very interesting YouTube videos Roger. As you said, there is no room for boredom because there is so much to learn and know, & the more you learn and know...the more one realizes how minute in the overall scheme of the universe we are individually, but just how great our Creator is, & that He wants to have interaction with me (as minuscule as I am).

I know that many don't believe that "He" exists, yet it is the complexities of the universe that shows what we thought we knew changes, as new discoveries are made. Science is only partial knowledge at best & while it constantly changes and shows us advances that we would not have dreamed of a short time ago...soon, new discoveries are made that show we had only scratched the surface before on our understanding of how everything worked together. Isn't that amazing?

There is always room for learning and always room for finding that "we still don't know" near as much as we thought we did.

Love it!

Thanks again for the thought provoking thread.

Hi Roger,
I thought that I would take some time out and enjoy your thread for a change. It was interested to see how those seven videos were taken off You Tube. It seams that when someone begins to tell the truth or puts something up that can benefit humankind, somewhere along the way, it is blocked from public view.

Quite awhile ago, I had mentioned the fact that I was born with a Pylinidal Cyst, (Not sure if that is spelled right.) I mentioned that it was at the base of my spine with less than 1/18th of an inch of skin seperating that from my spinal column. I also mentioned that I feel that I was born with a tail that was surgically removed at birth. I found some evidence to support my theory that some people are born with tails. I am going to try to upload those videos here, however I will also include the URL as I don't always have good luck with these videos.

GOD BLESS YOU
~Mike~
