WATCH: NETANYAHU WARNS ISRAEL WILL ACT ALONE AGAINST IRAN IF GIVEN NO CHOICE

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Jewish Federation of North America's General Assembly that "if we have to we'll stand alone" in front of Tehran.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised on Tuesday that Iran would not gain a foothold in Syria by which to attack Israel. The premier spoke via video to American Jewish leaders just hours after Russia clarified the it had no intention of pushing Tehran’s military forces out of the country.

"Iran is scheming to entrench itself militarily in Syria. They want to create a permanent air, land and sea military presence, with the declared intent of using Syria as a base from which to destroy Israel. We are not going to agree to that. I have said very clearly that Israel will work to stop this,” Netanyahu told the Jewish Federation of North America’s General Assembly which is meeting in Los Angeles.

“We must all work together to stop Iran’s aggression and its pursuit of nuclear weapons. If we stand together we will achieve it. But if we have to we'll stand alone. Iran will not get nuclear weapons. It will not turn Syria into a military base against Israel,” the premier asserted.

Further stressing Israel's dismay over the Iran nuclear deal, Netanyahu said: “We must ensure that Iran never gets a nuclear weapon. That is the bottom line and the most important. The Iran nuclear deal does not achieve that. On the contrary, after about a decade, it will leave Iran able to produce hundreds of nuclear weapons in a very short time, because the deal rescinds all the limitations on Iran’s enrichment capacity. They can have hundreds of thousands of centrifuges and they plan to.”

Both Israel and the United States believe that the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, designed to limit Iran’s nuclear capacity, is dangerous because it leaves Tehran with the ability to create nuclear weapons.

Outside of the US, Russia, China, Great Britain, Germany and France signed the document, but none of those five countries have expressed interest in changing the document.

Netanyahu has said that safeguards against Iran can be put in place, without changing the text.

US President Donald Trump has created an opportunity for the the five world powers to address the flaws in the document, the prime minister said.

“You have to correct it [the Iran deal], either by fixing it or nixing it,” Netanyahu continued, adding that he has previously encouraged world leaders to take action to improve the document.

“Iran is dangerous because of its fanatic ideology of global conquest, its growing power, its unflagging commitment to destroy Israel [and] its unvarnished aggression.

“Iran has already spread conflict around the Middle East, in Yemen, in Iraq and Syria and Lebanon. We are far from alone in recognizing the Iranian threat to the Middle East. The leading Arab countries, Saudi Arabia, see things exactly as we do. They are right,” Netanyahu concluded.

50,000 Children Will Die by the End of the Year in Yemen, Aid Group Warns

November 15, 2017 at 7:12 am

(MEMO) Disease and famine struck Yemen will see some 50,000 Yemeni children dead by the end of the year, NGO Save the Children told the Telegraph.

“These deaths are as senseless as they are preventable. They mean more than a hundred mothers grieving for the death of a child, day after day,” Tamer Kirolos, director at Save the Children, said.

Some 40,000 children are estimated to have already died from malnutrition.

The calculations were predicted before the Saudi-led coalition closed air, land and sea ports in Yemen restricting imports to the country. This was in response to a missile executed by the Iranian-backed Houthi armed group towards Riyadh airport early this month.

The ports in southern Yemen have since been re-opened, but Sana’a airport and the strategic port of Hudaydah are still closed.

Some 700,000 suspected cases of cholera have been reported in Yemen. Doctors Without Borders (MSF) announced in early November that it is closing most of its cholera clinics in Yemen.

Residents on both sides of the USA are currently reporting mystery booms and officials only come up with BS explanations or have no ideas about the origin of these loud booms. Most probable sources are earthquakes, skyquakes, army trainings, frost quakes… On the west coast you can certainly talk about earthquakes being the culprit of these booms. In the Northeast, the current polar vortex – record cold temperature beaten in Boston – and thus frost quakes may be responsible for the loud noises. Other sources will be army trainings. But what about Idaho, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina and Florida? Read below to debunk the mystery:

Loud booms heard in Southern Idaho – Nov. 14th

Social media has been going crazy over the last 48 hours with inquires about loud ‘booms’ heard around Southern Idaho. Earthquakes, skyquakes, army trainings?

Loud ‘booms’ heard across NE Jefferson, St. Clair, Blount counties, Alabama – Nov 14th

The mysterious boom and rumblings were heard over a wide area. Officials are working to determine what that sound was.

In California, loud booms will be heard along Route 50 due to testing of avalanche material:

Loud booms Sayville/Bohemia/Ronkonkoma, New York – Nov. 13th

Huge boom rattles windows and houses in Marion and Citrus County, Florida – Nov. 13th

Army exercices at the range on Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana until Wednesday – Nov. 13th – Nov. 15th

The 2nd Civil Engineers Squadron team will be training from Monday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 15 starting at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Demolitions training at McCrady, South Carolina – Nov. 12th

Mystery booms across Caroll County, Maryland – Nov. 12th

Loud booms and rumblings in DFW, Texas – Nov. 12th

but LOL!

Mystery booms in Mesa California – Nov. 11th

Meanwhile in England some weird ‘fireworks’ just detonated like bombs annoying at least one resident. Really fireworks?

We’ve seen several other explanations, including everything from UFO to underground tunnel conspiracies.

BRIEFLY

Stuff that matters

HURRICANE HARVEY

Climate change makes hurricanes like Harvey more likely.

Texas is still recovering from Harvey, a Category 4 storm that dumped 60 inches of rain over parts of the state. Researchers are already trying to determine the likelihood of a comparable disaster happening again.

A report published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciencessays that storms that hit Texas with more than 20 inches of rain are six times more likely now than they were at the end of the 20th century, when the chance of such a hurricane hitting Texas in a given year was 1 in 100.

While climate change may not have directly caused Hurricane Harvey, a warmer climate exacerbates hurricanes by allowing them to retain more moisture and move more slowly. That means hurricanes release larger amounts of water while they hang around for longer periods of time. Case in point: Hurricane Harvey came ashore and slow-churned for three days, wreaking havoc on Houston and surrounding areas.

In a little over 50 years, if global warming continues as projected, the chances of a Harvey-esque storm dumping 20 inches of rain on Texas will jump to roughly 1 in 5.5.

NORTH KOREA ISSUES 'DEATH SENTENCE' AGAINST TRUMP: 'HE WILL BE FORCED TO PAY DEARLY FOR HIS BLASPHEMY'

BY

The North Korean ruling party’s mouthpiece Rodong Sinmun published a seething commentary condemning President Donald Trump and the speech he gave to the South Korean parliament last week.

Trump was given the opportunity to address the National Assembly in Seoul as part of his state visit to Seoul, the first American president to give a speech to lawmakers since Bill Clinton in 1993.

In his speech, Trump congratulated South Korea’s progress since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, highlighting the differences in living standards between the two Koreas and personally addressed dictator Kim Jong Un, calling North Korea “hell” and urging him to give up his weapons.

The state-controlled North Korean media took a week to react to the president’s words, but the commentary published Wednesday both addressed Trump’s speech and reiterated some key points of the North Korean rhetoric. It repeated the idea that North Koreans won’t cower in front of a “rabid dog’s barking” and that Trump’s hostility represents a “declaration of war.”

According to the commentary, Trump committed four capital offenses in criticizing Kim’s leadership, North Korea’s society, lifestyle and history—North Korea contests the events sparking the Korean War, claiming it was invaded rather than being the invading force.

“Trump, who is no more than an old slave of money, dared point an accusing finger at the sun. He should know that he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people,” the commentary read.

“He will be forced to pay dearly for his blasphemy any moment,” it continued, “The one who violated the dignity of the people and insulted them should never expect their pardon.”

For all the fiery rhetoric and protests to the U.N., North Korea has refrained from launching missiles or testing nuclear devices for the past two months, the most recent provocation occurring on September 15, when it sent an intermediate range ballistic missile Hwasong-12 over the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido before crashing into the Pacific.

Taking a break from visiting military-related facilities, Kim’s latest public outings have focused on the country’s economy, visiting factories, fruit orchards and even driving a tractor in a bid to counter reports of food shortages in the country.

The hiatus comes as China prepares to send a special envoy to North Korea and South Korea co-hosts a U.N. disarmament and nonproliferation conference.

Arriving in Seoul on Tuesday, U.S. special representative for North Korea policy Joseph Yun told the local press he was not sure whether North Korea’s break from nuclear testing would last, but he thought it was a “good start.”

"We don't know because they have not communicated with us that they will stop doing that. I don't know why," Yun said, quoted in South Korean news agency Yonhap, "(But) I hope it stays that way."
