Vladimir Putin to New World Order agents: Syria still ain’t for sale

The UN Security Council was indirectly representing the Israeli regime, which aspired to oust Assad since the beginning of the war. Vladimir Putin was indirectly representing the vast citizens of this world, who refuse to bow down to the New World Order ideology in the Middle East and elsewhere.

“Too bad that NWO agents won’t listen.”

…by Jonas E. Alexis

Vladimir Putin is still pummeling the New World Order ideology in Syria, and certainly NWO agents aren’t happy at all because obviously they think that Putin should have given up on Assad.

Despite the fact that Assad has been fighting against ISIS in Syria, despite the fact that his government has been protecting the small Christian community in the region, and despite the fact that the vast majority of Syrians do not want the New World Order Ideology in Syria, the UN Security Council insists that Assad must be punished for his unpardonable sins. What is his crime?

Well, he is responsible for the deaths of thousands upon thousands of civilians; he is behind torturing prisoners of war; he has used chemical weapons on his own people; he is a dictator who will not listen to the voice of reason; and on and on it goes. In order to make Assad pay, the UN Security Council attempts to put new sanctions on Assad. Putin has recently declared that he ain’t buying it:

“As for sanctions, I think that it is totally inappropriate in relation to the Syrian leadership because it would not help the negotiations process, but would only hurt or undermine confidence in the course of this negotiations process.[1]

Putin moved on to say quite explicitly that “Russia will not support any new sanctions against Syria.”[2] The UN Security Council was indirectly representing the Israeli regime, which aspired to oust Assad since the beginning of the war. Vladimir Putin was indirectly representing the vast citizens of this world, who refuse to bow down to the New World Order ideology in the Middle East and elsewhere.

ISIS terrorists try to blend with civilians fleeing humanitarian disaster in besieged Mosul

Edited time: 1 Mar, 2017 05:09

The US-backed operation to liberate western Mosul from ISIS terrorists has caused a surge in civilian deaths and displacement, according to the UN, while Iraqi security forces tighten refugee screening process' to prevent jihadists from escaping.

Intensified fighting in western Mosul has resulted in a dramatic surge in civilian population displacement with 12,700 people fleeing the battle zone over the past two days alone, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said. Humanitarian situation worsens, as fighting approaches more densely populated areas of the city.

“So far today [Tuesday], we have around 300 displaced people – men and women and children,” Iraqi Brigadier General Salman Hashem told AFP, speaking only about one checkpoint.

With the support of the US-led coalition, Iraqi forces began the operation to retake western part of Mosul from Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL] on February 19. Government forces have recaptured several areas on the southern outskirts of the city, including the international airport area, an army base, and two southern neighborhoods.

Some 16,500 people have been displaced during these advances, and only 8,800 of them have so far been distributed among camps and emergency sites, according to OCHA. Many of the refugees are forced to sleep in the desert during their escape from the besieged city and arrive at emergency sites “exhausted and dehydrated.”

“They're coming to us after days without food,” Hashem said.

The escaping civilians also become twin targets; for coalition airstrikes and IS jihadists, who deliberately shell and snipe the fleeing residents.

“We were hungry all the time… Our families and children were starving as well we could not get out because of the airstrikes and the mortar attacks,” a displaced man from Mosul told RT.

The situation in the besieged neighborhoods is reportedly disastrous, with soaring food prices. A serious shortage of basic supplies also means that even if you have cash, in some parts of the city, money cannot buy anything. Some refugees claimed that they had to leave behind bodies of their relatives who had died from hunger at their homes.

“There was nothing to buy. You have money but what can you do, eat money?” an elderly man, who escaped western Mosul told Reuters.

The ongoing battle will inevitably result in further civilian casualties, believes political analyst Chris Bambery. “We keep hearing of a breakthrough, but clearly there’s no sign that this battle is going to come to an end. It’s dragged far longer than the Iraqi government and the Americans have believed it would. It’s becoming a very serious war of attrition which can create very bad civilian casualties,” he told RT.

“We are talking about a potentially very serious humanitarian disaster,” Bambery stressed. So far only 85,000 more people can be housed within prepared emergency camps and shelters, while some 400,000 civilians can potentially flee the battle zone as the offensive continues, according to UN estimates.

UN’s humanitarian partners have prepositioned various assets to help displaced civilians, namely 41,700 tents, 49,000 kits of “basic household items,” and 77,000 “emergency shelter kits.” Despite such preparations, the situation remains quite “challenging,” OCHA said.

Even though humanitarian organizations have enough place to allocate refugees so far, the housing process goes quite slowly, as Iraqi security forces thoroughly screen the arriving civilians, especially men.

“There are more coming. They're stopped at a checkpoint when they arrive and separated. The men are searched and then checked against a database,” Hashem said.

Security forces expect IS members, especially non-combatants and those who did not hold any public positions, to try and mix with the refugees to slip out of the besieged city, an Iraqi intelligence officer told Reuters on condition of anonymity. Security forces rely on databases of known IS members, local informants, and their own professional flair.

“We have a mechanism. We have names and sources but even so, we don't know all of them. But there are people who cooperate; most of them are cooperative,” the intelligence officer said. “You can tell because [fleeing IS members] are afraid. Those who are not Daesh are also afraid but it's different from the fear of those who are with Daesh.”

Up to 6,000 IS militants could be inside Mosul, according to Iraqi military’s estimates cited at the start of operations, Reutersreported. Iraqi army commanders claimed that some 3,300 have been killed in the battle for Mosul’s outskirts and the eastern part of the city so far.

Syrian Army retakes Palmyra citadel from ISIS – sources to RT

Syrian government forces and their allies have liberated the Palmyra citadel located on a hill overlooking the town from Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants, sources tell RT.

“Pro-government forces are now in control of several strategic mountains that are overlooking the ancient city of Palmyra. They also have under their control the famous citadel,” RT’s Lizzie Phelan reports, citing sources that are in direct contact with the army command center on the Palmyra front.

The Syrian Army does not have any forces stationed in the citadel, as it is filled with improvised explosive devices, but it is under their control, she added.

The Syrian Army took control over “
the heights surrounding the historic citadel of Palmyra and as well as the SyriaTel hill after Islamic State militants abruptly left the area,” a field commander told RIA Novosti.

As a result, Palmyra is now “at a stone throw” from the Syrian Army, which is rapidly advancing towards the city, the commander added.

The army is now storming a hotel district in the southwestern part of Palmyra, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source.

Earlier, the area known as the ‘Palmyra triangle,’ located to the west of the ancient city, was recaptured by the army backed by “supporting forces,” following days of advance operations, Syrian state news agency SANA reported.

NEW MAP: Stunning advance at today. line of defense is crumbling. City will most prob. be liberated very soon.

Government forces engaged in fierce clashes with IS militants, leaving scores of them dead or injured, and chasing down those who retreated, the report added. Engineers are currently carrying out a clean-up of bombs and landmines in the area.

Ancient Palmyra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, fell under Islamic State control in 2015. The world was shocked when it came to light that terrorists were destroying a number of iconic monuments, including the 1,800-year-old Monumental Arch of Palmyra, most of the Temple of Bel, and the Temple of Baalshamin.

In March 2016, Syrian government forces backed by Russian air support liberated the city, and reconstruction efforts on the extensive damage done by IS began.

However, Palmyra was seized by militants again in December, after which Islamic State terrorists destroyed part of a Roman theater and the legendary Tetrapylon in the ancient city.

The act was described as “a war crime” and “an immense loss for the Syrian people and for humanity” by UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova.

Syria’s Director of Antiquities told Phelan that his staff evacuated over 95 percent of the antiques from Palmyra, including the most precious artefacts. Staff are now waiting for the right moment to enter the city again to assess the damage caused by IS this time.
