Canadian Government Employees Must Pass Pro-LGTB Test

BY PNW STAFF FEBRUARY 24, 2017

The Canadian government has stepped up its use of the GBA+ course for public employees, a course that pushes both LGBT and feminist ideology.

Although the gender-based analysis plus course (GBA+) and its exit exam were first developed in 1995 under the liberal Jean Chretien government, Trudeau's government has mandated its use and promised unspecified consequences if a government employee fails more than three times.

The course requires participants to question traditional ideas about gender and sexuality and yet it does so in a way that clearly favors the LGBT and feminist views.

The current Canadian government action plan outlines a list of steps that must be taken to complete this indoctrination process by the year 2020. The action plan lists three primary goals:

* To implement mandatory GBA+ training across the entire government system.

* To incorporate the results of GBA+ training in performance reviews.

* "Develop and implement a more robust framework to monitor progress on GBA capacity and implementation across government." This can be taken to mean that the use and results of the GBA+ exams will be monitored and tracked broadly across the government.

What happens if an employee fails the exit exam more than the allotted three times?

No one yet knows and officials have refused to comment to the media on this question. But perhaps more bitter is the irony that liberal politicians are those responsible for implementing a process of ideological re-education that is anything but liberal.

Accept feminism and LGBT indoctrination or suffer the consequences, is the message. But what is actually in the GBA+ course?

One such question gives us a clue when it asks what "Gender is." One must answer either A or B.

A. "The characteristics associated with 'feminine' and 'masculine,' as defined by society, culture and history."

B. "The biological differences between men and women."

If B is selected, the answer is marked wrong.

Government employees must score an 80% on the course completion evaluation exam if they are to pass.

The climate of fear growing around the test is a product of uncertainty as to how the results will be used, what the consequences for failure are and if these results will help to promote only those with feminist and LGBT-leaning ideology while suppressing conservatives in government.

Material on the course indicates that it has some of the following objects:

* Sex is biological while gender is a social construct dependent on context.

* Gender is defined by society, culture and history; gender is subject to change over time, between cultures and is not necessarily dictated by biological sex.

* Gender roles are both learned and socially accepted behaviors that determine the responsibilities, activities, constraints and opportunities for individuals in a society.

* Gender exists on a continuum and every individual shows different degrees of masculinity and femininity.

Thus, radical feminist and LGBT beliefs on the fluidity of gender are taken for absolute truth and no questions are allowed in this march towards progress.

Government employees are required to express their belief in this ideology without question or fail the exam. Gwen Landolt, national vice president of Real Women of Canada, is one critic who has expressed her concern over the campaign for social control.

Landolt stated recently that, according to the GBA+ course, "only radical feminism matters." The hypocrisy is undeniable, she is quick to mention, of using a radical feminist group to create a program on equality that is purported to represent all Canadians.

She has called the forced use of the exam "unacceptable" and is fighting to have the regulation abolished.

If the Canadian government continues to enforce a pro-feminist and pro-LGBT agenda with its tests of ideology, conservatives are at risk of being pushed out of the picture, marginalized from the political process.

In a system that claims to be inclusive, this is both limiting and regressive as it restricts all thought into a narrow channel of radical feminist ideology purported to be absolute fact.

The chilling effect on speaking one's mind and facing official reprimand or simply being passed over for promotion serves as no small deterrent to free thought in this world of liberal Canadian government.

This re-education course, the GBA+, has the stated intention to " Examine the potential unintended impacts of initiatives on diverse groups of women and men".

It is ironic that the exam itself promises, in the long-term, to have such a profound impact on politics through its own enforcement far above a simple, "analytical process used to examine the intersections of sex and gender with other identity factors".

Let's call this like it is: a test of political ideology to enforce a single, rigid viewpoint.

Schools Now Push 11-Year-Olds to Question Their Gender Identity

CHRISTIAN CONCERN

One school allows children as young as 11 to question their gender identity. (
Public Domain)

A leading girls' school is allowing pupils to change their names to boys' names and wear boys' clothes.

Pupils over the age of 16 at St Paul's Girls' School in West London can now enter a formal process to self-identify as boys or as "gender-neutral."

So far, up to 10 sixth-form girls at the school are understood to have done so.

Pupils as Young as 11 Can 'Discuss' Issue

St Paul's is a high-performing private school with alumnae such as Harriet Harman, MP, and actress Rachel Weisz.

Under the new policy, pupils over 16 can submit a written request to identify as male or "gender neutral."

Pupils between 11-15 "can have discussions at any time" to explore their "gender identity," and will receive help to prepare for an application "at the right time".

Parents 'Ordinarily' Involved

Under the policy, the parents of girls applying to self-identify in this way would "ordinarily" be expected to know about the request and "preferably" would be "fully involved in such discussions."

The charter also says girls can wear boys' clothes and audition for male parts in plays. The new boys' names will be used on sports team lists, with families abroad on exchange visits, in assemblies and in lessons.

'Moving to Point Where Gender Is a Choice'

Its headmistress, Clarissa Farr, said: "We are moving to the point where your gender is a choice.

"I see this as a social phenomenon, especially in London, which is much talked about among school leaders."

She went on: "We have had an LGBT society for a long time. The school is very relaxed about sexual orientation, but this is a different issue. This is about gender reassignment. That is a new thing for us.

"We consulted the pupils to find out what the issues were. Their main preoccupation has been to look after people who don't want to identify as one gender or another."

'Legally Male'

So far, no pupils have come forward to say that they wish to undergo medical procedures and legally 'become males.'

If they did, St Paul's would no longer be able to educate them.

'Gender Neutral' Language

Last year, the Girls' Schools Association, which includes St Paul's, advised head teachers to use gender-neutral words such as "pupils," "people" or "students" in place of "girls."

Guidance was also issued from the Boarding School's Association that advised boarding school teachers to refer to pupils who self-identify as the opposite gender as "zie."

'Tragic'

Commenting on the news, Andrea Williams, Chief Executive of Christian Concern, said:

"It is tragic to see that a high-achieving school with a good reputation is capitulating to the current social agenda.

"These are formative years for these girls, and introducing the option to self-identify as something they are not is only going to cause confusion, which may be long-lasting.

"Instead, the teachers should be helping the girls to celebrate their God-given gender and empowering them to become well-rounded women."

An immigrant who’s lived in the U.S since age 7 just spoke publicly about her fear–moments later ICE detained her

A young immigrant was scooped up and detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials just a few minutes after speaking on behalf of undocumented immigrants in Jackson, Mississippi.

Daniela Vargas, 22, was brought to America when she was 7-years-old by her Argentinian parents and had recently filed to renew her Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status, which recently expired. She was speaking on behalf of her father and brother who had recently been detained by ICE officials outside their home while she hid in the closet. The officials found and temporarily handcuffed her before releasing her.

“Today, my father and brother await deportation while I continue to fight this battle as a Dreamer to help contribute to this country, which I feel is very much my country,” Vargas said at the press conference, which was organized by local immigration attorneys to raise awareness for families affected by the recent increase of deportations.

As Vargas was being driven back into hiding by a friend, ICE agents pulled over her vehicle and arrested her, saying “You know who we are, you know what we’re here for.”

Senate minority whip Dick Durban of Illinois has taken an interest in the case.

Vargas’ lawyer, Abby Peterson, suspects that this detainment is “retaliation.”

“They had been reading about her in the news,” Peterson said. “They had seen her at this press conference… [maybe] they didn’t want to hear it anymore. Maybe I’m mistaken on that, but common sense would certainly imply that’s what happened.”

Before ICE officials detained her for deportation, Vargas had planned to become a university math professor.

“We weren’t here doing any harm,” she told Huffington Post before being arrested. “We were just going to work and going to school. I feel like I belong here… I feel like I am an American.”

Prominent Hedge Fund Trader Jumps To His
Death In Manhattan

(ZHE)
A prominent 47-year-old hedge fund trader was killed when he jumped from a luxury apartment building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, in an apparent suicide, authorities told the NY Post.

Kevin Bell, most recently head of Credit Risk at Arrowgrass Capital, jumped from a ninth-floor kitchen window at the Apthorp building on West End Avenue near West 79th Street around 7:20 a.m. He landed on scaffolding that was set up in front of the building and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bell left a note indicating he had been depressed, the source said. He had a history of depression, the source added.

According to the NY Post, Bell left behind a wife and two daughters. His family was at home when he jumped, according to the source. “The family is hysterical. He was under a lot of meds. He did not give a specific reason why he jumped, but he was depressed,” the source said.

Bell, a graduate of Duke University, worked at Arrowgrass Capital Partners, where he was head of credit risk, according to his LinkedIn page. Arrowgrass managed $4.5 billion as of mid-2016. It is run by former Deutsche Bank traders Henry Kenner and Nicholas Niell, and in 2015 had been stocking its ranks with Saba alumni after losing several employees in its credit-trading group in April. The firm focuses on strategies including corporate distressed assets in the U.S. and Europe.

Prior to Arrowgrass, Bell worked at various prominent hedge funds and banks including Saba Capital, Citadel, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.

“We are deeply saddened that our friend and colleague Kevin Bell has passed away today. We extend our sympathies and condolences to his family,” Arrowgrass spokesman Nick Lord told The Post in a statement from the UK.

A building worker said some residents saw the man’s body. “A couple of our residents reported hearing a thud,” the worker said. “The daughter of a tenant looked out the window and she told her mother there was a man lying down on the scaffolding.”

The worker said the mother saw the body and notified building workers.

“He was bleeding,” the worker said. “Some of the residents are pretty shaken up.”

Based on resident reports, this is not the first suicide at the building: a man who works in a nearby doctor’s office was stunned about the suicide. “Oh my God, another one?” he said in disbelief. “Somebody committed suicide a few months ago … on the other side of the building. I can’t believe it, it’s almost exactly the same thing, but just around the side.”

Among the Apthorp building’s famed tenants were Al Pacino, Sydney Poitier and singer and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson. The building, which is modeled after the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and takes up an entire city block, from Broadway to West End Avenue between 78th and 79th streets.

It was unknown as of this writing if Bell’s alleged depression had been impacted by recent market performance.

Exclusive: Russia Issues Ultimatum to Turkey

Hands off Syria or your bases, even inside Turkey, will be in smoldering ruin

… by Gordon Duff with Nayed al Husaini and Dr. Bassam Barakat

Russia issued a secret ultimatum to Turkey today. It is very possible that President Trump will only learn of this through VT, so we will be as exacting as possible. Our sources are direct and “high” or “highest.”

____________

Background

We never saw any dead Turks in these alleged IS photos of destroyed Turkish armour, no trophy body parts.

In recent days the Turkish Army moved into al Bab in Aleppo Province of Northern Syria after, by their unsubstantiated account, defeating ISIS after a lightning battle though Turkey has claimed for months their forces, termed “Free Syrian Army” had been continually defeated.

We learned that the ISIS forces that held al Bab were most probably Turkish Army all along though it is possible they were ISIS working with Turkey. There had been no fighting with ISIS, all had been lies.

Turkey has never fought ISIS, their battles, the imaginary attack on ISIS held Syria by NATO’s third largest army, performing like a gaggle of girl scouts, is 3rd rate theatre, no more. Where was the video that we are used to seeing of combat in Syria, and when the city was “taken”, press interviews with the civilians?

And how much press coverage did humanitarian aid for al-Bab get? How about zero. There was no White Helmets, no UN, and no Red Crescent when we saw them in Aleppo the whole time.

We confirmed that Turkey removed 950 fighters from al Bab, said to be “ISIS” and tried to move them to Manbij, a city 20 miles to the Northeast, held by both Syrian Army and Kurdish YPG Defense Forces, extremely hostile to Turkey.

Turkey claims there is no other way for them to attack Raqqah, which they promised Trump they would do, without taking Manbij from the Syrian Army and the YPG Kurds.

Thus, when they tried to send forces through to Manbij to fight against their own allies, rather than sending Turkish Army or “FSA,” they sent ISIS fighters, 950 of them, who we have every reason to believe are in actuality Turkish troops and have been all along.

However, the Syrian Army had moved in from the South and Southwest, taking the nearby town of Tadif. Russian sources indicate that this agreement was made in advance and there was no authorization for Turkish forces, either FSA or Turkish Army or even “Turkish friendly ISIS units,” to proceed to Manbij.

During the summer long battle to take Manbij, Turkey continually demanded that “Arab forces” be allowed to take Manbij and that Kurds not be allowed to take the city. The “Arab backed” forces Turkey referred to and that then Vice President Joe Biden demanded be given control are, according to our sources in actuality ISIS itself.

Turkey planned to keep ISIS in place, and simply rename them “Arab forces friendly to Turkey,” which is a good usable definition of ISIS in the first place. This week Turkey was blocked from sending their “Arab forces” back to Manbij, supposedly on the 110 mile trek to Raqqah, a convoluted and senseless path under any consideration.

The Syrian Army had seized M4, the highway between al Bab and Manbij, blocking them. It also holds key areas of the adjacent spur that heads north to the town of Bza’a. Though the routes parallel, they enter a mountainous area after ten miles or so and become easily controlled.

Friends in Russia say that when this happened, Erdogan became “unbalanced” and ordered air attacks on Syrian forces. We have positively confirmed that the Turkish Air Force staged 3 air attacks against Syrian forces holding the M4 highway and ordered artillery and ground assaults.

Up to two dozen Syrians were killed, wounded were taken to Aleppo where they are being treated. We watched this process. A key reason for Erdogan’s concern for the region is that there are oil fields in the region that, though they are mostly under Kurdish control now, were for some time producing oil for ISIS, oil sold to Erdogan’s son.

The Kurds have continued the deal, their only source of income, enjoying the same deal, cutting Damascus out of revenue, that went on with Turkey. This is confirmed at the highest level of both Russian and Syrian government and the US is well aware of the deal. Additionally, Erdogan’s son also controls the grain trade, initially with ISIS and now with the Kurds. But that has all come to an end.

The Kurds, headquartered out of Manbij, are now going to sell their oil to Damascus, their grain too. In fact, there are broad agreements between the US backed Kurdish forces and Damascus, agreements that strengthen Kurdish autonomy in the region and tie the region closer to Damascus economically.

This cuts Turkey entirely out of Raqqah, their “promise” to help the US by, and this is our analysis, reinvigorating ISIS right under Trump’s nose, and burning both the Kurds and Damascus, Russia too, while Israel and Saudi Arabia wait to see what happens. Well, it happened. This is what we know:

Russia told Turkey that if they use aircraft to attack the Syrian Army again, Russia will respond.

What Russia left open, and we are stretching language here a bit, is the possibility that Russia might destroy Turkish air fields. We say this because Russia’s forces inside Syria are currently a bit “light” to back up the threat but Russia’s cruise missiles could do the job handily and nothing the US has could stop them.

Then again, Turkey is in negotiations with Russia to buy an S400 air defense system. Welcome to what is often referred to as Byzantine geopolitics in the Middle east.
