	6 Giant Corporations Control The Media, And Americans Consume 10 Hours Of ‘Programming’ A Day By Michael Snyder, on May 26th, 2016 If you allow someone to pump hours of “programming” into your mind every single day, it is inevitable that it is eventually going to have a major impact on how you view the world. In America today, the average person consumes approximately 10 hours of information, news and entertainment a day, and there are 6 giant media corporations that overwhelmingly dominate that market. In fact, it has been estimated that somewhere around 90 percent of the “programming” that we constantly feed our minds comes from them, and of course they are ultimately controlled by the elite of the world. So is there any hope for our country as long as the vast majority of the population is continually plugging themselves into this enormous “propaganda matrix”? Just think about your own behavior. Even as you are reading this article the television might be playing in the background or you may have some music on. Many of us have gotten to the point where we are literally addicted to media. In fact, there are people out there that become physically uncomfortable if everything is turned off and they have to deal with complete silence. It has been said that if you put garbage in, you are going to get garbage out. It is the things that we do consistently that define who we are, and so if you are feeding your mind with hours of “programming” from the big media corporations each day, that is going to have a dramatic affect on who you eventually become. These monolithic corporations really do set the agenda for what society focuses on. For example, when you engage in conversation with your family, friends or co-workers, what do you talk about? If you are like most people, you might talk about something currently in the news, a television show that you watched last night or some major sporting event that is taking place. Virtually all of that news and entertainment is controlled by the elite by virtue of their ownership of these giant media corporations. I want to share some numbers with you that may be hard to believe. They come directly out of Nielsen’s “Total Audience Report“, and they show how much news and entertainment the average American consumes through various methods each day… Watching live television: 4 hours, 32 minutes Watching time-shifted television: 30 minutes Listening to the radio: 2 hours, 44 minutes Using a smartphone: 1 hour, 33 minutes Using Internet on a computer: 1 hour, 6 minutes When you add all of those numbers together, it comes to a grand total of more than 10 hours. And keep in mind that going to movie theaters, playing video games and reading books are behaviors that are not even on this list. What in the world are we doing to ourselves? The combination of watching live television and watching time-shifted television alone comes to a total of more than five hours. If you feed five hours of something into your mind day after day, it is going to change you. There is no way around that. You may think that you are strong enough to resist the programming, but the truth is that it affects all of us in very subtle ways that we do not even understand. And as I mentioned above, there are just six giant corporations that account for almost all of the programming that we receive through our televisions. CBS Television Studios Simon & Schuster Infinity Broadcasting Westwood One Radio Network Fortunately, those enormous media conglomerates do not have quite the same monopoly over the Internet, but we are starting to see a tremendous amount of consolidation in the online world as well. Just check out these numbers… Overall, the top 10 publishers — together owning around 60 news sites — account for 47% of total online traffic to news content last year, with the next-biggest 140 publishers accounting for most of the other half, SimilarWeb found. The biggest online news publisher for the U.S. audience was MSN, owner of MSN.com, with just over 27 billion combined page views across mobile and desktop, followed by Disney Media Networks, owner of ESPN and ABC News, with 25.9 billion. The battle for the future of this nation is a battle for the hearts and minds of individuals. And it is hard to see how things will be turned in a dramatically different direction as long as most of us are willingly feeding our hearts and minds with hours of “programming” that is controlled by the elite each day. The good news is that there are signs of an awakening. More Americans than ever are becoming disenchanted with the mainstream media, and this is showing up in recent survey numbers. Here is one example… Trust in the news media is being eroded by perceptions of inaccuracy and bias, fueled in part by Americans’ skepticism about what they read on social media. Just 6 percent of people say they have a lot of confidence in the media, putting the news industry about equal to Congress and well below the public’s view of other institutions. As Americans (and people all over the world) have lost confidence in the mainstream media, they have been seeking out other sources of news and entertainment. This has greatly fueled the rise of the alternative media, and the dozens of websites all over the Internet where this article will ultimately be published are examples of this explosion. You can only enslave people for so long. Ultimately, they will want to break free of the chains that are holding them back and they will want to find the truth. In this day and age, it is absolutely imperative that we all learn to think for ourselves. If you find that you are still addicted to the “programming” that the giant media corporations are feeding you, I would encourage you to start unplugging from the matrix more frequently. 800 DNA & fingerprint records of suspected terrorists ‘accidently deleted’ by police

Police have accidentally deleted the DNA and fingerprint evidence of up to 800 terror suspects due to an administrative error.

The important material was accidentally thrown out because the correct paperwork had not been submitted, according to a report by the Telegraph.

Current rules state that evidence must be destroyed after six months if the subject has committed no offence.

However, special legislation allows for the information to be kept indefinitely if an application is made to have it deemed of national security importance. In this case the application was not submitted on time and the material was destroyed.

The error first came to light in March when it was reported only 450 files were affected, but a new report says the number of lost samples could be as high as 810.

Biometrics Commissioner Alastair MacGregor QC told the BBC on Friday that up to 108 files would have been approved for indefinite retention on national security grounds.

MacGregor said it is “obviously very important” that measures be taken to “establish whether – and, if so, how – replacement material should be obtained from those individuals.”

In March, the police database was revealed to contain up to 7,800 samples relating to terror suspects. MacGregor revealed the figure, which is higher than expected, in his annual report at the time.

Home Affairs Committee Chair Keith Vaz told the Week magazine that the Home Office needs to “get a grip” on the issue of biometric evidence.

The watchdog’s report indicates the number of biometric records kept on the counter-terror database has risen from 6,500 identified individuals in October 2013.

More than half of the people identified on the list – some 55 percent, or 4,350 – have never been convicted with an offense.

EARTHQUAKE WARNING: Magnitude 8 tremor 'that will hit a million people is COMING'

URGENT calls to strengthen buildings amid claims a magnitude 8 earthquake or stronger is on its way, have been made.

A SENIOR politician has called for urgent measures to prepare for a mega quake

Narinder Nath Vohra, the governor of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, is urging Mehbooba Mufti, chief minister of the region, to sound the alarm and order emergency preparations ahead of it striking, amid claims the area is "completely unprepared for the worst".

He fears countless lives will be lost unless action is taken.

Mr Vohra has written to Mrs Mufti stressing the state is largely within seismic zone V and "our people had, as recently as in the 2005 earthquake, suffered considerable losses."

Mr Vohra called for the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) to take urgent action to strengthen structures to reduce the risk of major collapse.

He also called for "non-structural mitigation measures to reduce the risk vulnerability in every part of the State, particularly the two capital cities and all the other densely populated high risk urban areas."

The governor wants new policies in place for new builds and retro-fitting of existing structures to improve stability, "particularly hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, railway stations, airports and buildings housing important government offices".

The last major earthquake to hit the region was in 2005, when a 7.6 magnitude tremor struck the Pakistan part of Kashmir.

It centred near the city of Muzaffarabad, but affected Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Indian Jammu and Kashmir state.

The death toll was estimated from 87,350 to more than 100,000, including 19,000 children after schools collapsed.

Around 138,000 more people were injured and a staggering 3.5 million people left homeless.

Mr Vohra said the SDMA must hold urgent meetings and set a time frame for each District Disaster Management Authority to comply.

He added: "This should be followed by regular conduct of mock drills in schools, colleges and at various public places throughout the State, involving all stakeholders and the public at large."

8 INFAMOUS “CONSPIRACY THEORIES” THAT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE

Conspiracy Theory: It’s a term used by many to brush off something that clashes with what they believe in, or have believed in for a long period of time. Taking in new information that runs counter to a current belief system is not easy and can cause the feeling of cognitive dissonance – a term used in modern psychology to describe the feeling of discomfort that arises from being confronted with two or more conflicting ideas, beliefs, or values. It suggests that we have an inner drive to hold on to all of our beliefs and attitudes, avoiding the feelings of discomfort and instability that accompany new ideas, regardless of whether those ideas are backed by evidence and sound logic.

Why do we always believe, without consideration, what is presented to us through mainstream sources? Why do we hold it to be true, without question? Why is it so common for many of us to not even acknowledge, listen, or look at evidence which runs counter to the accepted ideology? To ignore available information which presents an alternative to what is so commonly believed by many – or what we ourselves believe can place the human race in a very vulnerable, gullible state? Even if there is an overwhelming amount of evidence, many find it easy to dismiss.

Below is a list of events and phenomena which are or have been considered “conspiracy theories” by the general population, all of which can be backed up by an impressive amount of research and testimonies from experts in their respective fields.

It’s unfortunate that our world has been riddled with lies, misinformation, and fraud. It’s no secret that if you tell a lie long enough, it becomes the truth.

These are in no particular order, as they are all significant in their own right.

The Black Budget

Prior to Edward Snowden (the former NSA employee who leaked classified information), if you told somebody you thought there existed what seems to be a separate civilization – a part of humanity that broke off in secret, and is thousands, if not millions, of years more advanced than the mainstream academic/scientific/technical world – there is absolutely no doubt you would have been brushed off as a crazy conspiracy theorist.

But when Snowden leaked the very first documentation proving the existence of clandestine black budget operations, that all changed. Despite these recent leaks, many are still unaware of the black budget world, and the fact that it had been investigated and talked about before these leaks.

9/11

The tragedy that unfolded on September 11th, 2001 was horrific. To this day and despite the fact that many of the victims’ families themselves question the events of that day, many still consider anyone suspicious of 9/11 to be a conspiracy theorist. It’s important to mention that the mainstream media has played a large part in pushing this idea, that anybody who questions what happened on that day is “nuts.”

According to the latest polls, more than 150 million people (in America alone) do not believe the official explanation given to them by their government when it comes to 9/11, and the same amount actually suspect a controlled demolition of World Trade Centre building 7. Think about that for a moment. (A simple Google search will show you a number of polls that have taken place over the years.)

A quick Google search of polls regarding 9/11 will paint a clear picture for you. People are not stupid, so why is it that so many people believe it was a staged event? It’s because of all of the evidence that has surfaced over the years.

There is a tremendous amount of evidence to support all of these claims, and others, like the fact that the supposed “Al-Qaeda” terrorist group was in fact a creation of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). And yet, many people have a hard time hearing about, let alone thinking about these realities.

Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs)

This is a very big one, and as with 9/11, in the United States alone, at least half of all Americans say that we’re not alone in the universe. Fifty percent of Americans already believe that there is some form of life on other planets, while only seventeen percent think that there is not. A quarter of Americans believe that intelligent extraterrestrial visitors have already come to Earth and have been doing so for a long time. (Source in article linked below.)

Why do people believe this? The answer is simple. As former Princeton professor and NASA astronaut Dr. Brian O’Leary remarked, “there is abundant evidence” (source) clearly indicating that there is something going on in our atmosphere and around our planet which, asMike Gold puts it (Director of Operations For Bigelow Aerospace), deserves serious attention. The evidence comes in the form of statements made by high ranking military personnel, political personnel, academicians, and more. It also comes in the form of official documents released by dozens of countries officially acknowledging and disclosing the existence of UFOs. That’s not all, in fact, this subject is littered with so much information that it can be overwhelming for one to think about.

Geo-Engineering and Solar Radiation Management Via Stratospheric Spraying

Also known as “chemtrails,” the idea of injecting stratospheric particles into the atmosphere to combat the effects of climate change is very real, and not new.

Dr. Matthew Watson, PhD, a researcher in the department of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol, is one of many scientists who are warning against this practice.

“If we ever deploy these technologies it will be the closest indication yet that we’ve failed as planetary stewards. While it is clear that temperatures could be reduced during deployment, the misstep is considerable. Personally, this stuff terrifies me.” – Dr. Watson (You can read more about that HERE)

This idea is far from a conspiracy theory,

Some of the candidate particles to spray in the air are:

· Sulphate/Sulphuric Acid/Sulphur Dioxide

· Titanium dioxide

· Silicon Carbide

· Calcium Carbonate

· Alumina

· Silica

· Zinc Oxide

But are these programs operational? Well, the weather was modified using these techniques for the Olympic games in China, and if you are an observer of skies and a researcher of geo-engineering, you’ll know that there is a sufficent amount of evidence to suggest that spraying is already occuring.

Again, this is far from a conspiracy theory, and with all of the information available in the public domain it’s clear that this topic is something that deservers our utmost attention. That being said, as with the other topics, there is still a harsh resistance by the mainstream, who often ridicule this topic, despite all of the information that is out there.

A Small Group Of Elite People And The Corporations They Run Own Everything

Not that long ago, if you were to tell anyone that a small group of people and the corporations they run are in control of all the world’s resources, you would have received some decidedly ‘weird’ looks. Fortunately, thanks to recent global protests like the Occupy Wall Street Movement, more people have become aware of what is known as the “one percent.” That percentage represents the people who have access to the most wealth on the planet.

The same group of elite are in control of our health, finances, education, food, politics, media, and financial industries, and they contribute to the military industrial complex. It’s clear that there are many problems within these industries that affect us on a daily basis.

This was also demonstrated by three systems theorists at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. They published a study titled “The Network Of Global Corporate Control”about a relatively small group of companies, mainly banks, with disproportionate power over the global economy. (source)

Water Fluoridation

There is a reason why so many countries and communities around the world have recently stopped the practice of putting fluoride into their drinking water.

We are not talking about naturally occurring fluoride that is already found in water, we are talking about hydrofluorosilicic acid, a toxic industrial waste by-product that governments have been adding to our drinking water for over sixty years.

La Prensa uncovered a criminal network that paid Honduran officials to illegally register foreigners as legal residents, which gave them access to documents that could then be used to gain broader access to the western hemisphere. The La Prensa report was highlighted Friday by the Center for Immigration Studies, which said the network appeared to be a favorite for those of Arab origin — particularly Syrians and Palestinians — who were looking for a way to enter the U.S. The criminal network managed to get names registered in Honduras’s national registration of persons (RNP). That meant they could obtain passports and official birth certificates, on RNP paper and stamped by the agency director, that they could then take to the U.S. embassy to try to earn a visitor’s visa, the report said. In one case highlighted by La Prensa, a man managed to get registered them used his false papers to register at least eight other members of his family, including children and grandchildren. All told, the newspaper said at least 100 Palestinians and Syrians who obtained fraudulent documents have been detected, but it’s unclear how many cases are still out there. The U.S. embassy detected at least some of the attempts to obtain visas based on the fraudulent documents, and rejected the applications, La Prensa report said. Ten employees were fired, but were not charged, the report said. The Honduran embassy in Washington did not return a message seeking comment Friday. An official at the U.S. State Department declined to comment on the specifics of the cases involved, but said those doing the screening do a counterterrorism check on every visa applicant, including fingerprints or facial recognition software. The State Department official didn’t say how the checks would work in cases where someone improperly obtained valid documents.
