And yet... this is the storm before the calm

SaLuSa 11-March-2011

The Universe awaits your presence as Galactic Beings, for which you are being prepared. As long as you have the desire to advance from Earth to the higher dimensions, you will reach them without any real difficulty. Everything that you need is in the process of taking place, and that is the great interplay of energies that come from as far away as the Central Sun. You make the effort to attract the higher energies and they will most certainly reach you. Proof already exists, as some souls are now aware that just recently their consciousness levels have risen quite substantially. This year will be one that opens up many opportunities for those of you who desire to contribute to moves to bring peace to the Earth, or partake in the restoration of Mother Earth to her pristine condition. We know there are many of you who are eager to help in some way, and be assured your offer will be noted.

What is very heartening is your appreciation of the situation that you are now in. It is the storm before the calm, and requires as many of you as possible to see it through without taking your eye off the ultimate goal. The distractions are many, and the dark Ones will not withdraw until they are given an ultimatum. Either they resign as requested or they will be placed in an untenable situation where they have no alternative. Every soul will at some stage have to face the music where their deeds are concerned, but we are not out to punish anyone and will allow the greater powers to deal with crimes against the Human Race. Everything about you is known and you cannot fool anyone, or lie your way out of what you have done. Even your intentions are known down to every thought that you have ever had.

You will obviously know if you have some dark deed on your consciousness, forgiveness starts with yourself. You have been in duality to learn from your experiences, and it is only human to make mistakes. These are not held against you, but at some time you will be called upon to make them good. The concept of “an eye for an eye” is not in fact how karma works, and you help decide what further experience you need to overcome your weakness. Ultimately you will become much stronger as a result of it, and never have to go through the exact same experience again. Lightworkers have normally reached a level of understanding where they can be expected to create very little karma in their present lifetime. There is an inner knowing of what is right or wrong that carries them through the challenges of duality. There is a stronger voice within that cautions them when they are likely to move away from their life plan. Freewill is your god given right, but once you agree a life plan every opportunity is taken by your Guides to keep you on it.

When you have ascended you will have little or no problems with the lower energies, as they cannot exist in the higher vibrations. However, it is for example possible to incur karma, even when your motives have been pure and honest. In doing good there is a need to ensure that you do not also “interfere” with a souls life plan. However, you will be aware of what is required of you, and unlikely to inadvertently step out of line. You will in any event likely be part of a group that work from a shared consciousness. If you do, it will be because you are drawn together in a common purpose. Some of you incarnate together for that very reason, and where Earth families are concerned they can be very powerful. As you might say, “for better or worse” you will always find the ones you are meant to be with, so look at the lessons that arise from such associations. It does not matter who instigates the experiences that you have together, as whomsoever they touch are meant to be part of it.

Keep calm as the events on Earth progress, as at times it will appear rather unsettling but know that nothing will last for very long. There is a lot of clearing to take place, but very soon you will understand the purpose and take it in your stride. Better still disclosure will open the door to first contact with you, and in next to no time we will establish a world-wide communications system. You will know of our plans because we wish you to be part of what is going to take place. Certainly there will be increasing activity as time progresses, and meanwhile we monitor what is happening to keep a tight rein on the dark Ones. We carry out far more actions than you have been aware of, and of necessity we keep the details to ourselves. However, you have for example heard of our operations, to show that we meant our orders to your governments that nuclear weapons will not allowed to be used. We proved that we could at will disable the warheads on your missile sites.

Over millennia of time we have protected you and your Earth, and often that has been some natural calamity. Wars are your affair and it is karmic because of your previous desires to war with your neighbours. The big cry for peace has now brought you help, and we were allowed to respond to it. You have clearly stated that you have had enough of wars, and the plans to put a stop to them once and for all now exist. We will not have any difficulty in ensuring world peace. Again it comes down to our superior technology, and if attempts are made to break the peace agreement we will intervene with the blessing of the Creator. We therefore ask you once again to keep calm, and send out your Light to where or whom you feel needs it the most. Love is a powerful weapon that can melt the hardest heart, and as you come together to send it out so it carries much more power.

I am SaLuSa from Sirius, and speaking for my group wish we could make a few landings to inspire you. However, we have to pay our respects to your protocol and it will all be done with proper planning and permission. Eventually we will be known all over the world, and you will find it fun trying to identify the civilisation connected with the vast numbers of craft that will be seen. The smaller scout craft will be regularly seen in your skies, as these are specifically used for travelling in your atmosphere. In this connection, let us say that the one George Adamski did have a meeting with Venusian’s. They landed with their bell shaped scout craft, which type was sighted on a number of other occasions. In fact there have been numerous contacts of this nature, going back hundreds of years. We look forward to the exciting times ahead, and celebrations will be in order when we show up.

Thank you SaLuSa.
Mike Quinsey.

Hello Luis!

This new earthquake in Japan does have me wondering whether it's a sign of the times like the Bible says. Scary stuff!

Sincerely,
John

Yet more grim news from Japan.

Explosion at Japan nuke plant, disaster toll rises

As the death toll climbs from the quake and tsunami, Japan scrambles to contain another crisis.
By ERIC TALMADGE and YURI KAGEYAMA, Associated Press 2 mins ago

IWAKI, Japan – An explosion at a nuclear power station tore down the walls of a building Saturday amid fears that its reactor was close to a disastrous meltdown after being hit by a powerful earthquake and tsunami.

Friday's twin disaster, which pulverized Japan's northeastern coast, has left 574 people dead by official count, although local media reports said at least 1,300 people may have been killed.

It was not clear if the building whose walls came down in the explosion housed the reactor or some other facility. Tokyo Power Electric Co., the utility that runs the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant, said four workers had suffered fractures and bruises and were being treated at a hospital.

Footage on Japanese TV showed that the walls of one building had crumbled, leaving only a skeletal metal frame standing. Puffs of smoke were spewing out of the plant in Fukushima, 20 miles (30 kilometers) from Iwaki.

"We are now trying to analyze what is behind the explosion," said government spokesman Yukio Edano, stressing that people should quickly evacuate a six-mile (10-kilometer) radius. "We ask everyone to take action to secure safety."

The trouble began at the plant's Unit 1 after the massive 8.9-magnitude earthquake and the tsunami it spawned knocked out power there. According to official figures, 586 people are missing and 1,105 injured. In addition, police said between 200 and 300 bodies were found along the coast in Sendai, the biggest city in the area near the quake's epicenter.

The true scale destruction was still not known more than 24 hours after the quake since washed-out roads and shut airports have hindered access to the area. An untold number of bodies were believed to be buried in the rubble and debris.

In another disturbing development that could substantially raise the death toll, Kyodo news agency said rail operators lost contact with four trains running on coastal lines on Friday and still had not found them by Saturday afternoon.

East Japan Railway Co. said it did not know how many people were aboard the trains.

Adding to worries was the fate of nuclear power plants. Japan has declared states of emergency for five nuclear reactors at two power plants after the units lost cooling ability.

The most troubled one, Fukushima Dai-ichi, is facing meltdown, officials have said.

A "meltdown" is not a technical term. Rather, it is an informal way of referring to a very serious collapse of a power plant's systems and its ability to manage temperatures. It is not immediately clear if a meltdown will cause serious radiation risk, and if it does how far the risk would extend.

Pressure has been building up in the reactor — it's now twice the normal level — and Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency told reporters Saturday that the plant was venting "radioactive vapors." Officials said they were measuring radiation levels in the area.

The reactor in trouble has already leaked some radiation: Operators have detected eight times the normal radiation levels outside the facility and 1,000 times normal inside Unit 1's control room.

Ryohei Shiomi, a nuclear official, said each hour the plant was releasing the amount of radiation a person normal absorbs in a year.

He has said that even if there were a meltdown, it wouldn't affect people outside a six-mile (10-kilometer) radius — an assertion that might need revising if the situation deteriorates. Most of the 51,000 residents living within the danger area had been evacuated, he said.

Wind in the region is weak and headed northeast, out to sea, according to the Meteorological Agency.

Meanwhile, the first wave of military rescuers began arriving by boats and helicopters.

Prime Minister Naoto Kan said 50,000 troops would join rescue and recovery efforts following the quake that unleashed one of the greatest disasters Japan has witnessed — a 23-foot (7-meter) tsunami that washed far inland over fields, smashing towns, airports and highways in its way.

"Most of houses along the coastline were washed away, and fire broke out there," said Kan after inspecting the quake area in a helicopter. "I realized the extremely serious damage the tsunami caused."

More than 215,000 people were living in 1,350 temporary shelters in five prefectures, or states, the national police agency said. Since the quake, more than 1 million households have not had water, mostly concentrated in northeast.

The transport ministry said all highways from Tokyo leading to quake-hit areas were closed, except for emergency vehicles. Mobile communications were spotty and calls to the devastated areas were going unanswered .

Local TV stations broadcast footage of people lining up for water and food such as rice balls. In Fukushima, city officials were handing out bottled drinks, snacks and blankets. But there were large areas that were surrounded by water and were unreachable.

One hospital in Miyagi prefecture was seen surrounded by water. The staff had painted an SOS on its rooftop and were waving white flags.

Kan said a total of 190 military aircraft and 25 ships have been sent to the area, which continued to be jolted by tremors, even 24 hours later.

More than 125 aftershocks have occurred, many of them above magnitude 6.0, which alone would be considered strong.

Technologically advanced Japan is well prepared for quakes and its buildings can withstand strong jolts, even a temblor like Friday's, which was the strongest the country has experienced since official records started in the late 1800s. What was beyond human control was the killer tsunami that followed.

It swept inland about six miles (10 kilometers) in some areas, swallowing boats, homes, cars, trees and everything else.

"The tsunami was unbelievably fast," said Koichi Takairin, a 34-year-old truck driver who was inside his sturdy four-ton rig when the wave hit the port town of Sendai.

"Smaller cars were being swept around me," he said. All I could do was sit in my truck."

His rig ruined, he joined the steady flow of survivors who walked along the road away from the sea and back into the city on Saturday. Smoke from at least one large fire could be seen in the distance.

Smashed cars and small airplanes were jumbled up against buildings near the local airport, several miles (kilometers) from the shore. Felled trees and wooden debris lay everywhere as rescue workers coasted on boats through murky waters around flooded structures, nosing their way through a sea of debris.

Basic commodities were at a premium. Hundreds lined up outside of supermarkets, and gas stations were swamped with cars. The situation was similar in scores of other towns and cities along the 1,300-mile-long (2,100-kilometer-long) eastern coastline hit by the tsunami.

In Sendai, as in many areas of the northeast, cell phone service was down, making it difficult for people to communicate with loved ones.

President Barack Obama pledged U.S. assistance following what he called a potentially "catastrophic" disaster. He said one U.S. aircraft carrier was already in Japan and a second was on its way. A U.S. ship was also heading to the Marianas Islands to assist as needed, he said.

Japan's worst previous quake was a magnitude 8.3 temblor in Kanto that killed 143,000 people in 1923, according to the USGS. A magnitude 7.2 quake in Kobe killed 6,400 people in 1995.

Japan lies on the "Ring of Fire" — an arc of earthquake and volcanic zones stretching around the Pacific where about 90 percent of the world's quakes occur, including the one that triggered the Dec. 26, 2004, Indian Ocean tsunami that killed an estimated 230,000 people in 12 countries. A magnitude-8.8 quake that shook central Chile in February 2010 also generated a tsunami and killed 524 people.

Kageyama reported from Tokyo. Associated Press writers Malcolm J. Foster, Mari Yamaguchi, Tomoko A. Hosaka and Shino Yuasa in Tokyo and Jay Alabaster in Sendai also contributed.

Dr. Manny: Medical Fears Continue as Nuclear

Disaster Gets Worse

By Dr. Manny Alvarez

March 11: Fukushima Daiichi power plant's Unit 1 is seen in Okumamachi, Fukushima prefecture, Japan. The nuclear power plant affected by a massive earthquake is facing a possible meltdown, an official with Japan's nuclear safety commission said Saturday. (AP/The Yomiuri Shimbun)

In the aftermath of the 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan, one of the principal concerns was the state of Japan’s nuclear reactors.

One in particular, the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, located 150 miles north of Tokyo in Onahoma city, suffered a massive power outage that disabled its cooling system and caused pressure levels to rise.

Now, radiation is leaking out, even though Japanese officials don’t know how much and emergency steps are being taken to protect the population.

First, Japan ordered the evacuation of thousands of residents who live in the areas surrounding the affected nuclear power plants.

Authorities are also distributing stable potassium iodine doses to those people
who may have suffered exposure.

When the body is exposed to high levels of radioactive material, cells can

become permanently damaged, losing their ability to die, and then go on to
produce more damaged cells in a rapid, uncontrolled fashion. This is the
process that leads to cancer.

Children can be at a somewhat greater risk for cancer than adults after

radiation exposure because they are in the midst of growing and developing, and so
their cells are already reproducing rapidly.

For example, following the devastation caused by Chernobyl, the population saw a

dramatic spike in childhood thyroid cancers – more than 6,000 cases.

However, scientists later proved that if children in the area had taken stabile
iodine in the hours after being exposed to radiation, a sizeable percentage of
the cancers could have been prevented.

I must stress, however, that stable iodine is not the end-all when it comes to

radiation exposure. Radiation does not just affect the thyroid. In fact, the
regions that are most vulnerable to radiation are the cells lining the intestine
and stomach, and the cells in the bone marrow responsible for producing blood.

But, any potential reduction in the risk of cancers is a step in positive

direction at this point, and this is why it is crucial that Japan has
acknowledged the problem in a timely manner. Speed is key when it comes to
preventing and – in worse case scenarios, dealing with – radioactive exposure.

Now, Japan must keep a close eye on the rest of its population as well. If

current efforts to relieve pressure in Fukushima reactor fails and the reactor
core melts through its steel containment system, a radioactive plume could
disperse tens or hundreds of miles, affecting a huge number of citizens who
would need severe remediation. They also need to monitor radiation levels in
livestock and in the water supply to ensure that there are no hidden dangers of
contamination there as well.
