It's a bit of a silly story really, I don't know where i got the idea or the plot from. But it is a bit of a test thing to see if Free ebooks work, and to see people are looking into Lulu.

This my first attempt at writing a book.

These books are just new on Lulu. I don't really know how long it takes to get into the system, and how people find them in among the many hundreds on there.

Bill, this is a great idea!! I don't know if your intentions are to just post your books here or is it for all authors of Adland??

If you wait until your book gets in the market to sell, you will not make much profit from it. So sell from Lulu as much as you can. I have just published 3 books this year and working on others. I really like Lulu. I know there are other members here who also have books, so let us know if it is okay or not to post our books here.

Morning All. This is my 4th attempt to get this message on the forum. The internet is not being very nice to me today. Lets see if this one makes it.

How i found Adland Forums.

I have never written a book in my life. My wife is writing a book A fiction novel, based on true events in her life. I finished my two books. (My wifes book will be finished soon) And published them on Lulu. Then i thought. OK now what, do i just sit back and let Lulu sell my book for me. Or, do i do what i can to help. Please remember i am doing all this for FREE, and never done anything like this before.

So i thought, "Get a website" Got a Free website, which i quite enjoyed building, again more to learn. Tags. Key Words. Now get it on Google. Not that easy unless you pay. So i joined lot's of Free Website Submissions Sites. Then i found Free Classifieds. And Free Links. pages. And of course i also found Adland and the Forums.

If i type in the search bar my book name, hey presto there it is, somewhere on the first 3/4 pages, but how many people are going to type in my book name. They may type in Fiction ebooks, and will get hundreds of pages on every thing ebooks.

Lulu can't promote every single ebook on their site, Yes they have the Editors pick and top 100 books. but there are 1000s of books on there.

My two ebooks are not very important, but my wifes book i believe is. But you will notice the word Free is mentioned a lot here. So do we take the plunge and have the book printed in a professional manner with an agent and publisher. How much will this cost i wonder. Or do we stay on our current path and keep pushing it as best we can.

Has any one here sold books on Lulu. Did you advertise your self or not.
