My main "problem" with MLM and other similar pay structures is...most people don't do anything. Only a small fraction of the group makes a serious consistent effort, and some people make an effort for a short time, and most people either don't do anything or they think posting 2 ads daily for 2 days is enough and then they give up.

Someone recently told me he had read books about online marketing but never tried it and now wants to try. I bet none of those books told him about posting to dozens of safelists daily. Real books become obsolete within less than a year compared to the quick changes in online marketing. Someone asked me how I learned online marketing, I'd say from watching a lot of different people, some are good at advertising, others are good at coaching, others are great at list building or relationship building, some people make extra bonus offers, but bonuses don't always bring in good signups, and others have constant exuberance even if they don't make many sales. It's a combination of things. How do we learn to tie our shoes? Keep watching different people until one of them makes it seem easy or until our brain stops telling us we can't do it. The end result is tied shoes, or making sales, we have to be mentally ready to do it, and it has to feel un-difficult, not always easy unless we have a supreme unswayable goal toward something, not always money, sometimes it's just about feeling confident or wanting to do better than we've previously done.

Loyalty is very important, there's loyalty in Adlandpro members, and it's also about familiarity, and if we see the same people every day in other networks, that helps a lot, not just here and at Facebook, but in several other sources, then that really promotes recognition, especially if some people are in several of the same businesses and at several ad sites daily, people really become familiar with each other just from repeated online encounters.

People don't talk enough about conversion rates much online, there are lots of referral contests where the amount of free referrals is the main goal and some people are great at bringing in tons of free signups BUT when it comes time to convert those free people into upgraded members, the conversion rates should get more attention but there's usually no mention of it, then some of the free contest winners fall to the bottom of the sales pile because they can't convert. Some of the top sellers never win the free referral contests because they work on their sales technique and not on quantity of freeloaders brought in. MLMs need to be compiled from people who try hard, thru all levels. If the conversions were just slightly higher, most MLM members would earn a lot more, a lot faster, with just a bit more effort from members.

A recommendation to be the Top Program Award can be made by anyone.

If you have a great business or program and you or someone else can recommend your business or program to be a Top Program contender.

Submission should come with a detailed reason why it is a Top Program and as to why it should be recognized as such.

Comments in the Top Program Award will be open and can be made during the voting and again after a winner has been declared in the congratulatory thread.

As members have the chance to recommend a business or program this will provide recognition and feedback and everyone has a different opinion. Clearly the business or program would have a reputation that could be defended by its own merits.

As the program is subject to examination by all members and both comments and a vote are being made by these same members, the principal submissions will be by members who believe they have a legitimately sound program and are not just entering for advertising purposes.

Affiliate URL links will not be allowed for Business or Program. The URL must be showing as a business or non-affiliated URL where no credit is provided by having viewers click on the link.

Too keep and have an impartial vote and to insure the business or program is judged on it’s own merits, the member making the recommendation of the business or program will not be associated with it on the voting list. Therefore submissions will be kept confidential.

The reasons why a business or program is being selected must be stated along with the recommendation for Top Program Award.

Below are the standards that will be used to have the business or program slated for a vote.

Remember the more information provided the more likely the recommendation will be selected as a candidate for the Top Program Award.

• What do we see them? (URL cannot be masked, affiliated or redirected)
• Products or Services Offered What do they offer, service, product, program?
• Years of Operation How many years have they been in operation?
• Reliability Awards, Associations or Recognition References such as BBB, or other forms of recognition. Do they offer email, telephone or live chat support? Are there any verifiable testimonials etc…
• What are the Benefits Low costs – Solid payment plans – Contact management – Lead Generation – Multi-customized marketing sites – Video training –Training – Conference calls – Company experts available by phone or email.
• Your Reason for Recommending When you make a submission it will have to come with a detailed reason as to why it is a Top Program and should be recognized as such.
