RE: INNER CIRCLE-U R INVITED :))

Michael, we are hearing you and it is heart-breaking. I don't believe that illegal immigrants should be allowed to work in USA much less receive benefits that we can't get after we have paid into them all these years. It is a sad situation.

I feel sure most of us here in Adland and all your friends want to help and feel helpless as to know what to do for you and Shirley. Prayers are miracle workers as we all know, so we need to ask God for immediate help for you.

You are not worthless, you are a very important part of this world. What would Shirley have done without you during all the times she has been sick, I feel sure you have been there for her. I believe that God is up ahead and preparing relief for you, just keep your faith. You are facing a mountain, ask Him to remove the Mountain - He will.

May all good blessings come your way TODAY AND ALWAYS,

Sara

Pauline, I am glad you posted the link. I was trying to tell Wilson about it and was going to do a Google search as we had not heard about the trouble there.

We will keep your family in our prayers.

It is Sunday morning here but I will miss church again. Several reasons but soon I hope to be back in attendance. We celebrate 150 anniversary next Sunday!

It is still very wet, almost cold, dreary, cloudy... Gets to a person after a while but it will make the sunshine even better when we finally get some!

Blessings and good day to everyone,

Sara

Hi Pauline,
Thank you for the invite. I would like to say that everything is well here, however I am very depressed. Shirley has been in quite a bit of pain this past year and now she has an in home therapist coming twice a week. She either has a tear in her Rotator cup or something else, plus possibly Tennis Elbow. We have been doing very bad financially for the past two months and have not had enough money to get to the third week of the month. This month is worse. We are already out of funds with three weeks to go. I have called several organizations in our area to see if we could get some temporary help and have been turned away by all of them. Our phone service will be turned off this coming Monday.
Shirley has always been there for me, but now that she needs me, I can't help. We are both running out of medication. As the charities are not willing to help us, I am going to do my best to get her medications filled, and wait on mine. The thing that fristrates me the most is that I had to retire early at 62 years old. I was still willing and able to work but I was only getting between eight to ten hours a week. The Mexican workers that I trained were working thirty to thirty-five hours a week. They were illegal and the restaurant manager knew it. However, they were also tax exempt. When taxes are taken out of a person's paycheck, the same amount is taken out of the employers paycheck as well. Therefore, it is more profitable for the employer to hire illegals. The ones that I worked with laughed about it. One of them told me that he was on welfare as well and claiming six children. Before I left the job he told me that he had just finished paying for something in Mexico that he would be taking over soon. I asked him what it was and he told me that he and about nine other friends were working two full time jobs for four years (Tax Exempt) and were paying time payments on a Ocean Front Resort in Mexico. They had made their final payment and getting the deed to the property. American business owners know what is going on and the Welfare system knows that they don't have all the children that they claim to have, but they won't do anything about it. It is like being told that America is doing off shore drilling to save money. Than, when the largest oil spill ever threatens to ruin billions of dollars worth of wildlife and seafood, we learn that British Petroleum owns our oil. They even knew that the rig was in jeopardy two weeks before the spill but ignored it.
I feel so helpless, but there is nothing that I can do. Once our phone is turned off, Shirley will have no way to contact her doctor. All of these years I have tried to be patient and not make waves, but as we begin to loose our other services like Water and electricity, our next step will be homeless, all because our government wants to save money at the risk of jeopardizing it's citizen's health. I am truly depressed because I don't know what to do. At this point, I am really thinking that if I'm gone, Shirley will get the help that she needs.

GOD BLESS YOU
and please forgive me for failing in Life
Your friend
~Mike~
(P.S. Although I don't deserve it, I am a candidate for the next POTW)

Hi Mike,

glad you came by, so sorry about your situation, life does challenge us many a times..I shall be keeping you and Shirley in prayer, have sent in your names to our homebase church in Baltimore to add you to their prayer list.

I know its easier said than done when you tell someone to keep the faith...but most times thats all we are left with ...just our faith.... and God watches to see what you do with it !!

I remember many years ago when my kids were pretty small..and I was in a deep debt situation...just little after my divorce....The bankers came after me and threatened to close my existing business if I didnt turn up with the loaned amount of Rs.25,000/- thats about 500 US Dollars. It was a dark day for me...by nite I couldn't come up with a solution of where to get that amount from !! Thats when I excercised my FAITH and said "Lord you are in control of every situation in my life...whats the worst that could happen ? I Trust you!"

Next morning the new manager of the bank came home...and you wont believe he turned out to be a friend of ours...and was so compassionate as he lived for years in the same street as I and he was aware of my family situation and the struggle I was going thru before and after my divorce.....Well he gave me time to come pay atleast the interest amount which was very small..I did.... and in 3 months time God blessed my existing business so abundantly that I was able to clear the loan without any hassles.

So dear friend, we stand with you in faith that God will fiend a way out for you !

Keep us posted here as we would like to share in your miracle too !!! I am believing God for yours !!

blessings

Pauline
