Dennis and Ken,

I believe you have good intentions, but offering an incentive such as advertising credits, to ALL voters, could lead to some problems with some votes not being genuine, either not genuine in feeling, and also not genuine, as in fake account voting just to get more credits.

Hi Dennis,

I'd like to make a serious suggestion to all longterm members who vote:

If we all make at least one of our signature files to link within Adlandpro forums, that will generate a LOT more traffic within the community.

=====

I hope you'll be okay! It only takes one person to take advantage of a sincere offer and ruin it.

Hi Kathleen,

I agree with you about outside incentives. I have no idea what this other outfit is, can't even remember their name.

All incentives for voting should come from within this community.

Take care,
Jo

Well, Kathleen and Jo, That is 2 votes against bringing outside people to AdLandPro and being creative in how we promote the POTW forum. Maybe we should set up a poll and see what others feel about it. I would certainly go along with the over all consensus on this. I appreciate all of the attention that you Dennis and others are bringing to this forum. Ken

Ken,

We're good friends...

In my opinion, the forum threads in Feature Of The Week should be given respect such as government offices, and when I see ads that would lead to someone earning money, or incentivizing votes, or someone posting offensive videos, or someone who's on the ballot posting an article that may bring them more votes, it detracts from the election process.

If there's ONE ad here, a ton of spammers could come in here and post ads, someone deterred me from doing that a few days ago, and deterred me from bringing in lots of spammers here...

Let's all keep the Feature Of The Week forum and all threads within it without ads, without self-promotion from nominees, without offense toward voters & people making feedback here.
