Gregg Braden: The Divine Matrix – Full Conference
July 16, 2015

The Divine Matrix is the field of energy that connects everything in the universe. It is the missing link in our understanding. In order to tap from the force of this matrix, we must first understand how it works and speak the language that it recognizes, language that has been ‘dismissed’ from the original texts in our Judeo-Christian societies generating an incomplete bible and therefore human beings disconnected from who they really are!

From physics, biology to ancient civilizations text and spirituality Gregg Braden offers an amazing journey into the truth behind miracles…

Publicado el 02/06/2014
The Divine Matrix is an in depth presentation that you won't

want to miss. Gregg helps further the comprehension of how spirituality and science are merging in a very concise and engrossing manner.

Highly recommended.

The time of change is now and we are the change!

3 Breathing Techniques for Instant Relaxation

Sonali Bansal Life

“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.” ~ Thích Nhất Hạnh

For many of us, breathing is just an automatic function to bring in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, what we don’t realise is that breathing in a constricted manner from the chest, also known as shallow breathing, can increase our stress and anxiety levels.

The true nature of breath does not only lie in the fact that it’s responsible for life, but also, that it defines the quality of our life. David Coutler in the book, Anatomy of Hatha Yoga said, “the breath is the link between mind and body, and that if we can control our breath, we can control every aspect of our being.”

The ideal way of breathing is to form a loop of exhalation and inhalation without jerking, stopping or pausing in between, known as abdominal breathing or diaphragmatic breathing. But adults often lose touch with their natural flow of breath, thus limiting the functions of a diaphragm and reducing air supply in the lowest part of the lungs.

The irony is that a flat stomach is appreciated in today’s world, but the significance of the right way of breathing is ignored. More so, the daily stress and tension due to work, family, competition etc., increases the chances of shallow breathing by manifolds.

How do we breakthrough from this cyclical pattern of shallow breathing leading to tension and vice-a-versa? A full breath that allows deeper transfusion of oxygen in the body and even deeper exhalation for removal of the toxins out of the system, seems to be the key in this situation. Here are some simple breathing exercises to improve your mental and emotional state, and help you to manage stress and anxiety.

Supine Abdominal Breathing

This breathing exercise will be helpful to determine the way you breath – chest or abdominal. Come in corpse posture, place your left hand on the center of the abdomen, and the right hand on the chest. You can also fold your legs, if needed, to support your back further. Now, take normal breaths and watch which hand is moving towards the ceiling and which hand is more stationary.

If your left hand is moving continuously while the right hand is stationary (or moving very less), then you are on the right track. On the other hand, if it is the other way round, you are breathing in a constricted manner. Nevertheless, the situation can be rectified by simply trying to breathe from the abdomen, where the left hand is moving up and down, and right is stationary. The inhalation requires less effort and the exhalation is relaxed and fluid.

Stay in this posture with closed eyes for a few minutes and just focus on the breath. This is bound to stimulate the autonomous system, slowing the heart and lowering your blood pressure. Furthermore, it will reduce stress and anxiety immediately, leaving you calmer and relaxed. Trying to sleep while practicing supine abdominal breathing, is yet another way to incorporate the practice of ideal breathing habits in our daily lives.

Sandbag breathing

The dome-shaped muscles underneath the rib cage, Diaphragm, plays a significant role in breathing efficiently. But to experience the movement of the diaphragm can be a bit tricky. Lie in corpse position and place a prop like sandbag, book or block, weighing 3 to 15 pounds on the diaphragm. Ensure that the chest is not moving and the weight of the prop is light enough to easily push the stomach towards the ceiling while inhaling.

You will notice the extra effort required in inhalation and a more controlled exhalation. In addition to allowing the practitioner to get in touch with the functioning of the diaphragm and generating a greater sense of the organ, this exercise also strengthens the muscles. Keep observing the natural flow of the breath and slip into deep relaxation. Ensure that the prop is going up with the motion of the diaphragm and not by protruding the belly out.

When extra weight is put on the diaphragm, it pushes the abdominal wall further inside. Sarah Novtony and Len Kravitz, PH.D. in the article The Science of Breathing, said “investigations have demonstrated that slow breathing & pranayama breathing techniques activate the parasympathetic (inhibitory) nervous system, thus slowing certain physiological processes down that may be functioning too fast or conflicting with the homeostasis of the cells (Jerath et al., 2006).”

Upright Elliptical Breathing
“Breath is the king of mind.” ~
B.K.S. Iyengar, Light on Yoga

While we are sitting and breathing, the two most vital points in the cycle of breath is the transition between inhalation and exhalation, and the other between exhalation and inhalation. This is the time when the breath is more likely to become uneven. A complete breath is one where the abdomen rises on the inhale and merges with the fall in the act of exhalation and rises back up without any pause.

Imagine a Ferris wheel, notice the movement, the start and end of the loop is difficult to gauge. It only stops or jerks when someone has to get off. Consider your breathing to be like the movement of this Ferris feel. The inhalation will merge with exhalation and vice-a-versa, making a circular pattern.
When we keep imagining the movement, it would be easier to follow this pattern while breathing.

As the wheel goes up, inhale, and as it comes down, exhale. Continue this for at least 5 to 7 minutes or more if possible. What we want from relaxed breathing is no jerks, just a sensation that you are making a transition both ways.

The pattern of the normal breath is elliptical and not circular, but for a beginner, this exercise proves to be very helpful, relaxing the mind instantly. The idea is to create a sense of flow, the rest would fall into place gradually.

The compulsive chest breathers would often find themselves exhaling less and breathing in more, for the simple reason that they will always be short of breath. So they would want to hold on to inhalation all the more. The same attitude is also reflected in their life, where they lack the ability to let go.

A sure shot and the simplest way to have a good quality breath is to breathe in a 2:1 ratio, i.e. exhalation will be twice in comparison to inhalation. A three second inhalation would require a six second exhalation. Remember not to overdo things as it can be harmful and will aggravate your stress levels. Some of the other ways to practice relaxed breathing are: Bellows breath and Alternate Nostril Breathing.

Breath is the most important requirement for us to be alive. Therefore bad breathing habits, even though go on for 24 hours, can be changed for good.

A Look at Transcendental Meditation

Credit: youqueen.com

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

I think meditation is essential for any spiritual seeker who wants to elevate their consciousness, because it takes us out of the mind and into a place of peace and bliss. Meditation can reduce stress and encourage balance and calmness, and it can help us understand that life doesn’t have to be chaotic or stressful.

Life is as easy as we let it be, but most people are too rushed and stressed to stop for a moment, find their center, and let their inner peace return.

Along with other spiritual practices, meditation gives us peace of mind and the ability to persevere in stressful situations. Everyone has times when they don’t feel like they can keep going, but if we regularly meditate, we might find it easier to stay strong.

Here, I’d like to look at a specific meditative practice, which is known transcendental meditation. This is arguably the most popular form, with spiritual gurus and celebrities alike endorsing its scientifically validated benefits. Anyone who practices TM will tell you that it’s valuable and it’s helped them a lot on their journey, and the more we practice it, the better it’ll get.

It could eventually get to the point where we have no problem exploring our consciousness or dealing with stress from a clam, centered place, and we’ll have this form of meditation to thank for it. All of our anger, stress and frustration will gradually fade if we keep practicing, and life will become a lot easier when we routinely explore our inner realms.

“Natural Healing for All” tells us about transcendental meditation.

“So what is Transcendental Meditation? Transcendental meditation or TM as it is often called is a type of mantra meditation.

“Transcendental meditation isn’t a religion; it is not based on any kind of religious teaching. It does not require any set of beliefs; neither does anyone have to give up their religious beliefs in order to practice it.” (1)

Credit: trialx.com

Anyone, in any religion, can practice TM, and it isn’t limited to a specific philosophy or belief system. It’s free for everyone, and everyone would probably benefit from it. It can introduce us to a whole new reality that’s been here all along if we decide to practice it, and it can give us some ease and peace of mind as we go about our day.

People who practice TM are encouraged to find symbols and other things that help them go even deeper. Religious people might focus on an image or thought form of God, while generally spiritual people might focus on something else that has to do with their ‘faith’ or their spiritual practices.

“Transcendental meditation learners are encouraged to adopt symbols that have depth and significance to them. Let me give you a few examples, an agnostic might decide to use some kind of image from nature, like a sunset or a lake. A rabbi might use [an] image or symbol entrenched in Judaism to add to the usefulness of the session. Transcendental meditation is flexible.” (2)

The flexibility of TM is what encourages a lot of people to give it a try, and this is one reason it’s attracted celebrities and all kinds of other people who might not ordinarily embrace it.

Someone who has depression might not embrace meditation or other religious/spiritual practices because they don’t consider themselves spiritual, but the uniqueness and flexibility of TM could encourage them to give it a try because it fits with their individuality. They aren’t being forced to meditate a certain way or sing praises to God while they meditate, and they can practice in whatever way they enjoy.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogii

“Natural Healing for All” then tells us about Maharishi Mahesh Yogii, the founder of TM, as well as the scientific studies that have confirmed TM’s value.

“Transcendental Meditation was introduced worldwide by Maharishi Mahesh Yogii in 1957. A number of famous people, such as the Clint Eastwood (one of my favorite actors), Andy Kaufman and Deepak Chopra have used the TM technique.

“TM is the only meditation method that has over five hundred independent scientific studies shore up its claims. The studies were done at over two hundred independent universities as well as research institutes in thirty three countries regarding different benefits of TN technique; the results were published in over one hundred respected scientific journals.” (3)

A 1989 meta-analysis showed that TM worked better than other relaxation techniques in treating anxiety, which, in my opinion, can be linked with depression.

“A meta-analysis in 1989 that was published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology compared one hundred and forty six independent studies on the effect that different relaxation and meditation techniques in lowering trait anxiety.

TM was found to make a larger difference than other types of relaxation and meditation in reducing trait anxiety.” (4)

We’re also told about a TM study that was done in Japan, which also displayed the effectiveness of this form of meditation.

“A study that was published in the Japanese Journal of Industrial Health in 1990, done at Sumitomo Heavy Industries by the Japanese Ministry of Labour, researched transcendental meditation as well as its effect on industrial workers and mental health.

“In this study four hundred and forty employees learned TM. Three hundred twenty one workers served as controls.

“After five months, the researchers found considerable reductions in anxiety, impulsiveness, major physical complaints and emotional instability in the meditators in comparison to the controls.

“These meditators also had considerable decreases in depression, digestive problems, and tendencies towards smoking, insomnia and psychosomatic disease.” (5)

TM helped treat some of these peoples’ physical and psychological issues, and anyone who regularly meditates will tell you that there are a lot of psychological benefits. Like I mentioned earlier, it’s easier to have peace of mind if we routinely meditate, because we’ll be more connected with our higher consciousness, which is our source of love, bliss, and wellness.

Life doesn’t have to be so painful or demanding, and this is one thing regular meditation teaches us. I’d recommend setting some kind of schedule where you meditate at least once a day, and you might notice pretty soon that the benefits are enormous.

In our final quote, “Natural Healing for All” shares a meditation technique that differs from TM but can still be useful.

“This is not transcendental meditation but it is a technique that can help you to relax.

  1. “Sit down and get settled and comfortable. Make sure that there are no distractions.
  2. “Close your eyes, then allow your mind and body to relax.
  3. “Breath slowly and deeply, let yourself feel the mind relaxing.
  4. “Say the mantra you have chosen softly and continue to repeat the mantra for about one minute. Making your voice softer and softer as you do so.
  5. “Once you have said the mantra as softly as you can, repeat the mantra in your head, without saying your mantra out loud. Feel the mantra and do not force yourself to concentrate on the mantra.
  6. “Allow yourself to focus on the universe as well as the feeling of closeness and togetherness with the universe, while you continue to mentally repeat your mantra for about twenty minutes.

“If you forget the mantra, keep calm and allow the mantra to come back naturally. Should a different thought enter your head, do not allow yourself to focus on it.

“Let yourself come back to your mantra naturally. This technique (…) is usually practised twice everyday, once before breakfast and again in the afternoon before dinnertime.” (6)

We can diminish the chaos we experience on a daily basis by routinely meditating, returning to our center and bringing our patience and perseverance back up to the surface, and without patience and the ability to persevere, life will continue to seem like an uphill climb.

We can transcend the struggle of daily life by looking to our spirituality, and even those who don’t consider themselves spiritual can embrace TM and move beyond the stress that occupies their minds. Everyone has to deal with stress at some point, but we have certain tools in our inner arsenal that can make it easier to handle.

If we keep meditating, I’m confident that stress can be a thing of the past. We no longer have to give into it or let it keep us from balance or centeredness, and along with other spiritual practices, meditation can help us to be free of its overbearing influence.

So keep meditating (or perhaps start meditating if you haven’t yet), and watch as all of the stress and negativity fade away. It won’t happen overnight, and we can’t expect all of our stress to be gone from us instantly. It will happen if we can stay committed to our meditative practices, however, and it helps to call on our higher consciousness when we aren’t meditating to be with us and help us find some peace of mind.

I look forward to a time when inner peace is instantaneous and we no longer need help calling on it, and that time will eventually come if we stay dedicated to the practices that help us stay centered and peaceful within.

Crop Circles Message Decoded

Exciting Chilbolton Crop Circle Message to Humanity Decoded

Dear friends,

One of the most exciting, yet little-known events of this century was the formation of several highly intriguing crop circles near the U.K.'s Chilbolton Observatory. One of these crop circles, formed in August 2001, was later decoded revealing what appears to be a fascinating message to humanity.

Before reading on, click below to watch a mind-expanding, six-minute video clip from the documentary Crop Circles: Crossover from Another Dimension, which shows the beautiful complexity and gives an excellent explanation of the Chilbolton crop circles and their decoded messages.

http://www.personalgrowthcourses.net/video/ufos/crop_circles_video

Though some crop circles are artificially created, the sheer volume and the incredible sophisticationand size of some suggest that it would be nearly impossible for even a group of people to create them in the course of one night. And for undeniable evidence of the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life, watch the amazing UFO footage in the Sci-Fi Channel's Out of the Blue. This profound documentary includes riveting personal testimony from a number of astronauts, generals, and top politicians on their involvement in a major cover-up of the extraterrestrial phenomenon.

As described in the crop circle video at the link above, the most exciting of the Chilbolton crop circle messages turned out on decoding to be a clear response to the 1974 message from humanity sent into outer space. Sent to other potential denizens of our universe through the the world's largest radio telescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the original message was crafted by Carl Sagan, Dr. Frank Drake, and others. A detailed image of this transmission, with complete description, may be found on page 290 of Sagan's 1980 book Cosmos.

This crop circle's most intriguing formation not only imitated the exact binary form in which the original Arecibo message was sent, it gave precise information on the extraterrestrial group which formed the circle, including their population, location, and even appearance. And it appeared in a field right next to a radio telescope similar to the one that projected the original message. Below is a brief summary of key points decoded from the message:

From the aerial view [the image in the crop circle] is the shape of an ET figure. It clearly has a little stick-like body with two arms and two legs, but has a much larger head and two distinct eyes. If you decode the 'population' binary sequence in the actual crop formation you get a value of approx 21.3 billion. There is also some indication of a change in the basic DNA structure of ET. The additional (third) strand shown on the left and also a change in the number of nucleotides indicates a different DNA than ours.

The above excerpt is taken from a thorough analysis with detailed photos and description of this most amazing crop circle message and how it was decoded on this webpage. This page and the above video clip are well worth exploring if you are at all intrigued by this amazing message which appears to be from another race of intelligent beings who share our universe.

Crop circles are but one of many highly intriguing phenomena which are difficult to explain away. Could some of these be messages informing those with eyes to see that we are not alone in the universe? The question of extraterrestrial life continues to be one of the most baffling and profoundquestions about life in our universe. For those with an open mind, exploring these crop circles and the reliable resources listed in the "What you can do" section below may open you to exciting new vistas on the meaning of life for us individually and for all of humanity. Have fun exploring!

THE SCIENCE BEHIND CHAKRAS

There is much controversy associated with the existence of CHAKRAS. Many consider them to be a theory with no real backbone. Some believe they are the source of our wellbeing. And others even believe they are the key to enable our spiritual connection to the Universe.

So what are the Chakras?

shutterstock_187065806(1)

Chakras were first described in the Hindu Scriptures (The Vedas) thousands of years ago, and literally means wheelsof energy. They predominantly deal with energy flow in the body and are said to be focussed areas (or vortices) of high, expansive energy, within multiple locations in the body.

There are thought to be 114 Chakras within the body in total, but 7 main Chakras spanning from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, and are considered to follow the curvature of the spine.

Connected to these Chakras, there are said to be Nadis (literally translates to RIVERS in Sanskrit). These Nadis are considered to be the vessels through which energy flows, from the chakras to the rest of the body.

‘Everything is Energy’. This is a widely accepted theory in Quantum Physics and a scientifically proven fact. In religion and spirituality, the movement of energy is the central, and fundamental, core around which many traditions are based. Ancient practices such as Reiki, QiGong and Tai Chi focus on the manipulation of energy to achieve well being.

We like to think of space as empty and matter as solid. But in fact there is nothing to matter when you look at it at a subatomic level, most of what is contained within an atom for example is 99.9% space. It is mostly unsubstantial.

Everything connects via magnetic energy and is electrical energy.

All matter is held together via energetic bonds and consist of these atoms, of which most, is space. The movement of energy is vital to life. When we think, breathe, function or even when we are resting, electrical energy is flowing through our bodies via our neurones and nerve pathways.

The position of the major chakras correspond to the major nerve plexus’ or nerve ‘bundles’.

shutterstock_181069166 (1)

Now for some Biology:

By far, the most energetic processes within our bodies are caused by our nerve tissues and specifically our nervous system. The nervous system is that part of our body, that coordinates its voluntary and involuntary actions, and transmits signals to and from different parts of the body and brain. The communication of the body, if you will.

The nervous system is composed of two main parts:

The Central Nervous System (CNS) within the brain and spinal cord, and

The Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) ,which connects the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body, via little ‘river‘ like nerve fibres (Nadis!). This system is what correlates with the chakras.

There are different categories of nerve bundles within the PNS, but the most relevant to the Chakras is the AUTONOMIC nervous system of the PNS. This deals with the involuntary or automatic responses within the body. For example – digestion; our heart rate, sneezing, swallowing and breathing. All these processes are regulated by the hypothalamus.

The Autonomic Nervous System is further divided into the Sympathetic Nervous System (activated in emergencies to move energy, the ‘fight and flight’ responses) and the Parasympathetic Nervous system (activated when ‘resting and digesting’).

It is the Parasympathetic Nervous System (part of the automatic nerve response system) which has the greatest relevance to the areas where the Chakras are thought to be located.

-Graphics-Major Endocrine Glands

The diagram above shows where these major nerve plexus’ (or networks) of the Parasympathetic Nervous System lie. The brain actually connects to these parts of the body via the ‘big-dog’ of the nervous system – the big, fat, juicy, VAGUS nerve – the 10th cranial nerve (cranial meaning, out of the cranium/skull).

The Vagus nerve is considered the ‘Holy Grail’ of all nerves. Where the major networks of nerves are, they correspond with the glandsin our bodies – So I guess the question to ask is – why do glands require so much electrical input?

The diagram below shows the position of the various Chakras. Notice how they correlate to the above diagram:

As mentioned above, these nerve ‘bundles’ are associated with major GLANDS in our body. Glands secrete hormones into the bloodstream and are HUGELY important in the functioning of our bodies, more so than what a lot of people realize!

Hormones are critical players in the body’s chemistry and stimulated by the Vagus nerve.

shutterstock_126081023 kopi

They (as well as nerves) carry messages between cells and organs and affect many aspects of our bodily processes, from growth through childhood, sexual development, mood, to how well we sleep, how we manage stress, brain functioning and even how we break down food.

In fact, the gradual decrease in hormone production over time, is what leads to the aging process!

Other hormones, such as DMT (Dimethyltryptamine), secreted by the pineal gland in the brain, is known to cause Out of Body Experience, heightened creativity and even psychic abilities!

The Biology in a nutshell:

The Chakras are associated with the major nerve networks within the body, which connect from the brain/spine, via the major Vagus nerve, to the glands responsible for hormone production and the functioning of the body in general.

THE VAGUS NERVE and KUNDALINI:

The Vagus nerve is considered the ‘holy grail’ of the nervous system and it mostly conveys sensory information about the state of the body’s organs to the Central Nervous System. Once it leaves the brain it winds its way down the body, and around the internal organs.

One key role that the Vagus nerve plays, is as the ‘reset’ button, to counteract our internal, automatic, ‘alarm’ system, resulting in the fight and flight response – a key culprit in stress and depression. Therefore stimulation of the Vagus nerve may lead to some very positive health benefits, especially in a society which is suffering from the effects of subconscious fear (fear of stability, the status of our jobs, terrorist attacks, money, and so on and so forth!)

kundalini-serpent-power

The Kundalini Serpent

The Kundalini is the ancient description for the energy (or shakti) present within our bodies. It is said that the kundalini stems from the base of the spine and winds its way up to the top of the head, and is often compared to a snake or a serpent.

‘Kundalini awakening’ is said to result in deep meditation, enlightenment and deep sense of bliss. It is said that this Kundalini ‘snake’ coils 3 times as it travels up the spine. Guess what – The Vagus nerve connects precisely 3 times to the spine!

Although the ancient descriptions are considered a little far fetched, it appears perhaps they used metaphors for very accurate information related to our wellbeing. It sounds like the ancients were on to something!

There are over 13000 studies on the Vagus nerve, and it is well documented that Vagus Nerve Stimulation can assist in a multitude of illnesses, such as treatment-resistant Depression and certain forms of Epilepsy. The great news is that the most effective, natural method for stimulating the vagus nerve is deep belly breathing (also known as Pranayama in ancient Indian culture), meditation and exercise. (Sounds a lot like Yoga – don’t you think?)

Quantum Physics has already proven that observation affects matter. (See the article on this HERE). Since all of matter is energy organised in a particular arrangement, perhaps the ancient traditions of observing your thoughts, or placing your attention and awareness on the Chakras, bears real weight! Especially when it comes to creating real changes within the body.

For me, personally, Meditation and Chakra Activating has changed my life and I would urge you to give it a go!
