The Oracle Report, Friday, May 1, 2015

It took me the whole morning to find a pair of shoes in which I will be able to walk comfortably. These are basic kinds of things I’ve put off doing, but that I now must do. When I came in, I found Simon Parkes new video, started listening to it, and find it, once again, filled with solid information. I’m listening now as I rest — again, a must for me at the moment. . . I hope you also will find the time to listen . . . ~J

FROM WISE OWL SHERRY

FROM WISE OWL SHERRY

Gibbous Moon Phase: trust, magic

Moon in Libra

Goddess of Wisdom: Chinnamasta (Goddess Who Expands the Mind)

God of Will: Ian (God of the East)

Skill: keep an open mind, an open eye, an open heart, and open arms

True Alignment: insight into the future and future planning, honorable behavior (upholding a high standard and value for life), protection and defense, duty-bound, reaching new heights or understanding, fluidly moving around obstacles, recognizing the beauty in others, achievements, enlarged view, clairvoyance

Catalysts for Change: immersed in materiality and material value, jealous of others or what others have, aggression, role-playing and never being authentic, getting away with something without consequence, paying for other’s laziness, demands for instant gratification, creating barriers, divide and conquer tactics

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: “the music of the spheres”

A transformation of values and value systems underlies situations, events, circumstances, and conditions today. In the light of fifth-dimensional consciousness, what constitutes value is much different from what was previously valued.

What is considered beautiful is also a different thing in the fifth-dimension. It shows out from the inside much better.

Our “ideals of greatness” are also a different thing.

As all things are adjusting to the new dynamics (new music of the spheres), we adjust, too.

After the massive explosion of the canyon of fire on the Sun earlier this week, all is quiet right now. When the Sun discharges all it has to send a certain dynamic, it then gives us a chance to assimilate the data/light/information/upgrade. Solar activity activates the brain (it makes us smarter).

The Sun wanted to help us come together as a collective – countering the intention to divide and conquer through racial division – with the CME timed to the Sabian symbol of “black and white children playing happily together.” It was a blast to activate or enhance peaceful co-existence and the recognition that we are all One. This is reverberating through the collective, bringing clarity to situations and will make new outcomes with situations. History no longer repeats itself. We are wise not judge how things are or will be by the way they were or went in the past. A combination of an open mind and an open eye enables us to see very far out of the box, realizing that it’s “the unconsidered” or even “the unimagined” that has more potential to emerge. A good thing to keep asking ourselves during this transition into 5D understanding is “what is missing?”

The Moon journeys to the opposite place in the sky as mighty Uranus today, which causes what used to be “thunderbolts of change” in the old world, but now are “thunderbolts of alignment and opportunity” in the new world. Things are changing, but the more accurate term is aligning. Uranus and the Moon work to align things today, so if you experience a change, ask yourself if it is more of an alignment with what will be better for you. The Moon will make exact opposition with Uranus around 10:00 pm ET/2:00 am UT. Energetics will build or “load” to this point. Thunderbolts of hate will fall short of their intended target because the stronger dynamic wants to bring people together, not divide them further.

Ultimately, when we talk about what we value, we are talking about love. Let’s expand our understanding of it today by keeping our minds, eyes, hearts, and arms wide open.

Thank you for supporting The Oracle Report!

The Way Can Only Be Found Within

Credit: Vimeo.com

By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

It’s always emphasized in the conscious community that we have to find our own way, and we can’t rely solely on what other people say if we want to spiritually grow.

There are a lot of gurus available to help show the way, and while there’s nothing wrong with relying on them to a healthy extent, we also have to be willing to interpret spirit in our own way.

If we don’t, we might end up with perspectives or philosophies we don’t resonate with, in which case we’ll know we need to stop wholly investing ourselves in the guru of our choice and look deep within to find our own perspective on life and spirituality.

Credit: Waystostarttheday.blogspot.com

Spiritual evolution is arguably the most difficult thing we’ll ever do, but it’s easier when we rely on someone like a guru. It can give us the sense that we have less of a responsibility for our evolution, and if we’re ever stumped about something, we can call on our teacher or crack open the spiritual texts.

This might work for some of us for a while, but unless we’re so devoted to our teacher’s perspective that we’re willing to throw our previous beliefs out the window and follow their every word without question, chances are that they (or the scriptures) will eventually say something we can’t agree with.

This can cause a lot of confusion and uncertainty for the sincere spiritual seeker, because they’ve been led to believe their guru has all the answers but some of their guru’s advice just doesn’t seem right to them. I’ll give an example.

Sri Ramakrishna, an excellent spiritual teacher who maintained an unprecedented connection with the Divine Father and Mother, once told a story of a faithful disciple who gave a poor offering to her guru.

She owned a few cows, and her guru expected her to offer him a lot more of her cow’s milk than she was able to provide. According to Ramakrishna, the dismayed guru told her to go drown herself because of the weak offering. She faithfully obeyed.

She went to a lake to drown herself, but at the last minute, God appeared before her and gave her a better offering for her teacher. She returned with the new offering and claimed it was the work of the Almighty, and her teacher’s response was to take a trip to the lake himself – with her by his side.

The guru proclaimed that he would drown himself if God didn’t show Himself to him just as He had the follower. And of course, God did appear again at the last minute, laying the guru’s doubts to rest.

The moral of the story was that we should have unwavering faith in our guru, to the extent that we’re willing to lose everything because only then can we witness the Almighty. After telling this story, Ramakrishna said “Even if your guru frequents a grog shop, he can still be seen to have a connection with God” (loosely quoted).

I know the story was metaphorical and intended to teach that we should have complete, unbroken faith in our guru, who’s apparently closer with God than we’ll ever be (the woman only glimpsed God when she implicitly followed her guru’s instructions).

It’s basically meant to convey that absolute faith, even if it pushes us to give up the very life that provides our physical identity (death by drowning could mean giving oneself over to the waters of God to be purified and made anew), will lead us directly to enlightenment.

It makes sense if we don’t interpret it literally, but I still struggle with the whole thing. Those of you out there who advocate independence and free thought would probably struggle, too.

The idea that we should listen to a guru’s every command seems more religious than spiritual, and the religious approach some gurus have to spirituality turns a lot of people away from them.

The movement the conscious community is creating encourages us to find our own path and embrace our spirituality in a free, independent way, and some teachers’ rules and instructions can be a little rigid.

Some teachers lay out strict rules that we’re expected to follow if we want to come anywhere near enlightenment, and I don’t think this is how spirituality is supposed to be.

Don’t get me wrong – a lot of gurus offer the advice they do because they want to keep their disciples on a righteous path where they won’t stray from their disciplines or their greater awareness, but some gurus seem a little controlling in their approach.

I struggle with some spiritual material, even material I write about, and one of the reasons is because of its affiliation with religion. I even have trouble with the term “God”, because it reminds me of the religious god who sits in the sky and casts sinners away to hell.

I prefer other terms like “Source”, and while it doesn’t matter what we call our creator, the fact that so many spiritual teachers associate so heavily with religious concepts and ideals makes it harder to follow them with any enthusiasm.

This, among plenty of other reasons, is why I advocate finding our own path through the confusion.

The idea that we should have unrelenting faith in a guru, as Ramakrishna and others have told us, doesn’t resonate much with me because despite their closeness with God, gurus can have just as many flaws as their followers. The difference is that their flaws aren’t always as noticeable at the surface.

Ramakrishna and a lot of other teachers have helped me greatly along my quest, however, which is why I think we can still hear what these teachers have to say without taking their words as gospel.

Some people inevitably will – especially those who have the most faith in them – but we don’t have to. We can if we want, because our spiritual evolution is ours to do what we want with. If they say something that doesn’t seem right, however, we reserve the right to use our discernment and skip right past it.

Some spiritual seekers will probably all-out stop following a teacher who says something they don’t believe, but they could still have other genuine, valuable teachings that benefit us so we might want to be more flexible.

My biggest difficulty lately has been in fully surrendering to a higher consciousness (what some people call “God”), and maybe this is why I have so much trouble accepting what a lot of gurus say about faith.

I do think faith and surrender are important, but I don’t approach surrender the same way a lot of teachers do. I think it’s more of a personal thing, and a guru doesn’t have to be involved unless we feel like we need one.

The best thing we can do is empower ourselves and look within for the guidance we require, and only if we think it’s necessary should we listen to what someone else has to say about our spirituality.

While there’s a lot of helpful guidance out there, most of what’s said by spiritual teachers reflects their experiences along the path and not necessarily ours. It can be difficult to rely on ourselves over any teacher, but it’s one of many obstacles we’ll have to surpass on the path to a higher consciousness.

So remember to look within and, if you feel the urge, occasionally crack open some spiritual texts and see what the teachers have to say. You might learn a thing or two, but you could also stumble on advice or metaphorical stories that send you running the other way.

It’s okay if this happens to you, and it doesn’t mean you’re somehow less spiritual or less able to connect with God. It just means that your path is a little different, and this life would be boring and uneventful if we all had the same perspective or we listened to the same teachers.

With this said, remember to call on your intuition before you listen to someone else, and nothing anyone else says will bother you when you can make your path authentically yours. Some teachers’ words might help you, but when they say things you don’t agree with, you’ll know to brush it off and find what works for you.

There are a lot of genuine teachers out there who can help us find our way, and like anything else, we just have to find what works for us and let the rest be.

Golden Gaia News Roundup: May 2, 2015

news roundupThe state’s attorney, Marilyn Mosby, announced Friday that six officers have been charged with the death of Freddie Gray. There was significant probable cause that the actions of these officers is considered homicide. Mosby also indicated that the arrest of Freddie Gray was illegal based upon the officers having no probable cause to arrest him in the first place.

There were many opportunities and stops where Freddie could have gotten the medical attention he needed, but on all occasions, his pleas were ignored. He was found on the floor of the “wagon” immobile at one point and still, no medic was called.

They were all aware he was having a medical emergency, yet the heartlessness persisted. So, the homicide charges came. Most if not all of the officers are already out on bail.

Mosby is strong with her position but also makes it clear that this is not a reflection on the entire police department in Baltimore. The mayor also points out the same. From the looks of it, the protesters may finally get justice for Freddie Gray. These officers are not above the law. Now they get to experience the “due process” from the other end of what they normally do.

Whatever the final outcome of the trials, this could be beneficial for teaching these officers compassion. Now they will know what it feels like to be treated like a criminal, guilty or not, until proven otherwise.

More Nasty Chemicals…

We’ve been warned by the makers of DuPont’s teflon product since 1961 that exposure to this chemical causes health problems in rats and humans alike. Exposure to non-stick cookware leaves chemical remnants in our systems for years. Possibly just trace amounts, but it still affects our body.

Polyfluoroalkyl and perfluoroalkyl or PFASs permeate a vast amount of consumer products. Most of the products that contain PFASs are exposed to food for our consumption. The waxy papers that retrieve your doughnuts in the morning and pizza boxes, or even waterproof mascara or the stuff that keeps your carpet from staining.

Our children are exposed to these things just as much as we are. The dangers have been known since 1961. What year is it again? We are just being told of these dangers to our bodies now? Gee, thanks for the head’s up.

Scientists Issue Warning Over Chemicals Common In Carpets, Coats, Cookware By Lynne Peeples, Huffington Post

A point I found to be very important to highlight from this article:

“A decade ago, in 2005, the EPA assessed a $16.5 million fine, its largest ever, to DuPont, saying the company had withheld decades of information concerning the hazardous health effects of PFASs. That’s according to a helpful reminder from the nonprofit Environmental Working Group in a separate report also published on Friday. They note that internal documents revealed DuPont had long known the chemicals “caused cancer, had poisoned drinking water in the mid-Ohio River Valley and polluted the blood of people and animals worldwide.”

That’s heavy. We just found out that RoundUP weed killer causes cancer and it’s been sold to us for decades. Maybe they just found out? It’s pretty crazy that Dupont would know about the cancer causing agents in these products and they just keep it to themselves. Is the “almighty dollar” really more important than the health of your community? Your children? Most of them probably kept this secret from their own families to protect their company. It’s just sick.

Recovering From Religion

I find this to be of importance to a good many people who are on a journey “with no road map.” If a person chooses to leave their mainstream religion for something more liberal or just completely different than their own family, community, or friends it can be very isolating and lonely.

That’s where “Recovering from Religion” comes in. It’s a nonprofit that works with people who are in the beginning stages of doubting their beliefs. It’s a respectful community that doesn’t try to pull you in any direction, but rather gives the person space to question in a supportive environment that basically helps them feel respected in their views and less alone.

The first night they were open, they received 1,000 calls. There are many people who just don’t fit into these fear-based, controlling, and intrusive religions. It just doesn’t feel right for them anymore. How do you discuss that feeling with your Orthodox parents? Not easily, if at all.

Sarah Morehead, one of the creators of this non profit, says she gets a lot of calls from teenagers who got kicked out of their home because they just can’t associate with the religion of their parents.

‘I Don’t Believe This Anymore': What It’s Like to Leave Behind Abusive, Right-Wing Religion By Valerie Tarico, AlterNet

It’s very hard to navigate religion and belief systems when you are indoctrinated into them from childhood. It becomes a part of your identity and who you are. There is nothing wrong with religion if it works for a person for what they need, the sad part comes in when the limiting and fear-based part of the religion kicks in and scares a person into submission because of what the God they worship may do to them if they question.

Some religions are more open, some aren’t. I’m glad at least there is a safe and respectful place for people who are looking for more meaning in their own life for themselves, not for the meaning they are expected to find in the religions that don’t feel right to them.

We are far greater beings than we have been told, far greater beings than most of us realize.

In Light and Love,

Lindsey

Clarification on Prosperity Packages

Sacred 15I’ve been asked to post Archangel Michael’s remarks made when I asked him about Matthew Ward’s comment on the prosperity packages.

The prosperity packages is a program that St. Germaine has claimed an influential role in. (1) Various lightworkers were contacted some years ago and asked to submit the names of people who should be beneficiaries.

The intent was to use the money to benefit humanity. And, I think, to expose some people to wealth early in the hopes that they might play a role in dispensing funds to the world later.

I’d imagine that everyone who receives prosperity packages will be watched to see what they do with them. The Biblical handful-of-seeds metaphor applies here, I think. Those who show integrity and compassion will, I believe, be asked to go to the next stage in financial wayshowing.

Matthew said:

“Readers have asked if the following assertions are true: … Delivery of ‘prosperity packages’ is imminent. …

“Those are samples of distorted information, uninformed opinions or skewed interpretations, long-outdated contingency plans, long-outdated potential land/sea changes, scare-tactic lies, or falsehoods in messages channeled by base entities claiming to be respected light sources.” (2)

I asked Archangel Michael about the discrepancy in my reading on April 24, 2015. Here is that exchange:

Steve Beckow: Why is Matthew implying that there will be no prosperity packages and you are saying that there will be.

Archangel Michael: It is a matter of how one is looking at prosperity packages, is it not?

SB: I don’t know.

AAM: That is the difference. (3)

My interpretation of what he’s just said is that Matthew may be thinking of a prosperity package to everyone, such as is some people’s idea of what NESARA will bring.

He may not be referring to the program that St. Germaine has initiated which is targeted at selected lightworkers.

And if he is, well, time will tell.

More could be said about the prosperity packages but it’s not my intent to mislead you into thinking that this blog intends to play an advisory role in financial matters. We do not. I will be writing experientially on financial matters as needed but not from a financial or advisory standpoint.

Nick Pope: Disclosure Has Happened

top-secret

Disclosure is one of the most frequently used words in the UFO community. Popularized by the likes of Dr. Steven Greer and Steve Bassett, the term has become so key a concept that it’s habitually capitalized, and has become the desired end-state for many, when it comes to ufology. People have varying ideas about what might lead to Disclosure, and what the consequences would be, but it’s fair to say that there’s a fairly standard (and clichéd) view of what Disclosure would look like. Broadly speaking, the scenario people envisage consists of TVschedules being hurriedly cleared, followed by the US President making an announcement that begins something like this:

“My fellow Americans, people of the world, we are not alone.”

Interestingly, such a statement, taken in isolation, would pose no problems, politically or legally. However, problems would arise if it transpired, for example, that an extraterrestrial spacecraft had crashed at Roswell in 1947, because the (unstated) implication would be that every Administration since 1947 had consistently lied about this issue. Maybe the lies could be justified, or maybe (if the secret had been kept by a tiny cabal) it could be argued that Administrations hadn’t lied at all, but that’s a debate for another day. The essential point is this: announcing the existence of extraterrestrial life isn’t a problem, but acknowledging the existence of a cover-up is.

When people ask me if, or when, I think Disclosure will occur, I often reply by saying that it depends on what there is to disclose. The problem is that many people in the UFO community think in terms of absolutes: an alien spacecraft crashed at Roswell in 1947 and the US Government has kept this secret for nearly 70 years, therefore there’s a tangible thing that can be revealed. Fair enough. But what if the reality is different, and much less clear-cut?nick-pope-cnn

Retired US Army Colonel John Alexander previously claimed that “disclosure has happened”, while Rendlesham Forest UFO incident witness John Burroughs has said that “confirmation trumps disclosure”. Such statements might seem absurd, but in fact, they show an astute grasp of the true situation. Let’s run through some scenarios.

Suppose that a major world government avoided something like the clichéd “My fellow Americans, people of the world, we are not alone” statement, but decided instead to say something like this:

“That UAP [Unidentified Aerial Phenomena] exist is indisputable. Credited with the ability to hover, land, take-off, accelerate to exceptional velocities and vanish, they can reportedly alter their direction of flight suddenly and clearly exhibit aerodynamiccharacteristics well beyond those of any known aircraft or missile – either manned or unmanned.”

Now suppose that this same major world government decided to declassify and release its archive of UFO files, and suppose it transpired that some of this material had been highly classified. Then suppose that to publicize the release of these files, one of the officials who had been responsible for UFO policy and investigations gave literally hundreds of mainstream TV, radio, newspaper and magazine interviews stating that consistently, over several decades, a proportion of UFO sightings had defied any conventional explanation. Additionally, suppose that these positive statements about UFOs were used in The New York Times, Time Magazine, ABC, the BBC and most major media outlets all around the world. Finally, suppose that these quotes included statements like these ones:

“These are probably the most fascinating and bizarre government files ever made available to the public.”

“These are the real-life X-Files. Most UFO sightings had conventionalexplanations, but a small percentage remained unexplained. These included cases where UFOs were seen by police officers, chased by pilots and tracked on radar.”

“When looking at all this material it is clear that whatever you believe about UFOs, there are serious defense, national security and air safety issues.”

Does all this sound too good to be true? Well, here’s the thing: it is true. All this has already happened. The “That UAP exist is indisputable” quote comes from the Executive Summary of the final report of Project Condign, a UK Government intelligence study on UFOs that was classified “Secret UK Eyes Only”.

The other quotes come from some of the media interviews that I’ve given in recent years, as part of the ongoing project to declassify and release the UK Government’s UFO files. I worked on these files for years (and wrote many of them) and, by virtue of being the media’s ‘go-to guy’ on this story, I’m now the public face of the ongoing project to release these files.

This may not be Disclosure in the sense that some people in the UFO community mean, but it is disclosure nonetheless. This is one of thereasons why I coined the phrase “disclosure with a little d, not with a big D”. What do I mean by this? It’s a reality check. No government is going to admit that it’s been lying to the public for decades on this issue – or indeed on any issue. Similarly, no government is going to say something like this:

“We occasionally encounter unidentified craft in our airspace. They consistently outperform our best fighter jets, sometimes showing up on radar and sometimes not. We don’t know what they are.”

Such a statement would be untenable, because it would be tantamount to an admission that we’d lost control of our airspace, irrespective of whether one believes that UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft, foreign military spy planes or drones, or some currently unknown atmospheric phenomenon. No government or air force would make such a statement. “We don’t know” sounds ignorant, even though it’s often the most honest position to take. Similarly, “They consistently outperform our best fighter jets” sounds impotent. Ignorance and impotence are the polar opposites of the self-image that any government tries to project, so such a statement could never be made. However, it is possible to say pretty much the same thing, using less alarmist language, and phrases that are sufficiently vague so as to allow for multiple interpretations. So what one ends up with is a tacit admission that there’s something more to the UFO phenomenon than misidentifications, hoaxes and delusions, but the door is left open as to whether such sightings are triggered by craft or phenomena. Expressions such as “we can’t rule out any possibilities” or “we remain open-minded” are seen as positives, not negatives. It all comes down to the language that’s used. So re-read Project Condign’s final report, and re-read my various media statements about the release of the MoD UFO files, and you’ll see that this isn’t a hypothetical scenario. All of this has already happened.

So, incredible as it may sound, disclosure has already happened. It’s just that nobody noticed. Why? Because it didn’t resemble the spaceship in a hangar smoking gun that people were expecting, and hoping for. There was no Presidential announcement, just a typical government strategy of dumping a lot of material into the public domain, in a situation where a small signal was drowned out by a lot of noise. But the signal was there, and it’s still there, clearly visible to all those who truly know how to recognize it. Disclosure took place in 2006 with the release of Project Condign’s final report, and again in 2008, with the release of the first batch of the MoD’s UFO files. When the history of ufology comes to be written, doubtless there will be other such dates and events to be considered, but Disclosure has happened, and my message to the UFO community is this: it’s a waste of time and effort lobbying for something that you already have.

“Disclosure Has Happened,” by Nick Pope, UFO Digest, May 1, 2015, http://ufodigest.com/article/disclosure-happened-0501

Nick Pope is a former employee of the UK Ministry of Defence. From 1991 to 1994 he ran the British Government’s UFO project and has recently been the public face of the ongoing initiative to declassify and release the entire archive of these UFO files. Nick Pope held a number of other fascinating posts in the course of his 21-year government career, which culminated in his serving as an acting Deputy Director in the Directorate of Defence Security. He now works as a broadcaster and journalist, covering subjects including space, fringe science, defence and intelligence. Nick Pope’s latest book, Encounter in Rendlesham Forest, co-written with John Burroughs and Jim Penniston, was published in paperback by Thomas Dunne Books on 3rd March 2015, and has also been published by Thistle Publishing. It’s available on AMAZON.COM and in all good bookstores.
