I love your quotes and how they tie into what Jesus did for us and all of mankind.

Thank you for sharing these thought provoking quotes. They are simple, yet difficult to fulfill.
Yet with his help we can do it.

Have a blessed Easter,

Cheryl

Cheryl,

I think that the very fact that these things are difficult to fulfill makes it even more rewarding when we do. It can become a great habit because, as humans, we love to be rewarded.

That's a good point Roger,

Yes, we humans like to be rewarded, so to fulfill what we know that we should be doing is a great feeling.

We can only fulfill these by submitting ourselves to the control of our loving creator. By myself, I can't do it. With him, I can do all things.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I enjoy reading what you have to say.

Blessings,

Cheryl

I am 'discovering' this forum. Very pleasant. The first entry I read was Kathleen's Dec 29 story of her afternoon in an airport with the little ole lady with the French accent. What a nice person Kathleen seems to be. Folks sort of gravitate to me, my daughter says, so I can relate.
One of the quotations that comes to me from my Momma's teaching is simply:
'there is NO excuse for rudeness'.

Happy Day!

Hi Frieda,

So nice to have you come by and leave your comment, your momma's teaching was right on.

"There is No excuse for rudeness," is something I try to live by, but I must say, I think everyone of us at some time or another has been rude...not intentionally hopefully, yet our vulnerability as a human gives way to self at times, & we simply forget that when you treat others with respect this is usually what you get back from someone else.

This reminds me of the Golden Rule:

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

It was nice to have you stop by, come back anytime and post your thoughts or quotes. Whether yours or someone else's quotes , they are welcome here.

Thanks,
Cheryl
