Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for the Invite to you Forum. I didn't realize that we hadn't talked since I got back from the March for Life up in DC. First of all, since the topic of the Thread is famous quotes, here's a couple of my favorites...
“If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people to not kill each other? Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want” Mother Teresa
"The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between” Mother Teresa
The March was Inspiring, as always, however at the same time it was depressing, whenever I stopped and realized that one year later, we'll probably have to be back once more, and Millions more babies will have been murdered in the meantime. Abortion must be stopped once and for all, Roe v. Wade must be repealed, and Planned Parenthood must be put out of business. Speaking of Planned Parenthood, here's a quote from their Founder, Margaret Sanger...
“We are failing to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying . . . a dead weight of human waste . . .an ever-increasing spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all” Margaret Sanger
Sounds almost like she's a big fan of Genocide doesn't it? Surprising then that Obama and the liberals want to use your Tax money to keep them going and to increase the slaughter.
That's why I'm so happy that we have 40 Days for Life here in NC, and throughout the Nation and several other Countries of the World. From today, February 17th through March, 28th, there will be constant vigils at Abortion Mills throughout the Country, with Non-Stop Prayer and Fasting to put an end to Abortion, once and for all. I was supposed to be down in Charlotte, NC, this morning for the kickoff, however my health wouldn't allow me to attend. I will be there at the Charlotte Clinic this weekend however, from Friday through Sunday, and then at the vigil over at the Winston Salem, NC Clinic, as often as posible between now and the 28th.
The most Inspiring part of the March, besides the sheer numbers and the spirit of Solidarity that one could feel in the air, was hearing from the Hundreds of Women who had had abortions and that now have joined the movement, because they admit that they made a mistake that they will regret for as long as they live. Here's a Quote from Carol Everett that speaks to this...
"The product, abortion, is skillfully marketed and sold to the woman at the crisis time in her life. She buys the product, finds it defective and wants to return it for a refund. But, it's too late” Carol Everett
I could go on and on, however, I covered most of this in my Thread over at the Forum, Stand Up & Be Counted... While I'm here, I would like to Invite you and any of your readers to stop by the POTW Forum and Celebrate with a few of my Friends.
Finally, I would like to leave you with perhaps my favorite Quote of all...
Havre A Bleseed & Beautiful Day My Friends
