Next Saturday sees me off to the official re-opening of the gallery.

I can't wait.

As a friend I get to have a preview.

Great artist and exciting times for his followers.

My wife and I attended the pre-opening of The Gallery yesterday.

We were well attended to with drinks, canapes and ice creams.

The re-decoration has been done to Watt's specifications including the red wallpaper that he wanted his pictures hung against.

The fantastic news is that HOPE, Watt's most famous painting is to be returned to the gallery from The Tate. Wonderful.

I saw this a few weeks ago in London but it will be in it's own dedicated room on return.

I am so honoured to have anything to do with this painting and gallery.

Although this is a sad image and a humanitarian statement the light effect on the original has to be seen.

This is at the gallery.

Hello Roger,

I am very happy that 'Hope' will come back home at last. You are so fortunate to view her at will.

Bless you Luis.

I appreciate your support and enjoy our exchanges.

I thank God frequently that I was born with access to such man-made wonders. I am so fortunate.

I had a great life-class painting session tonight, beautiful model and wonderful company. I am enjoying learning.

Roger
