Hi Jim,
The interview is very interesting and informative. I watched it last week I believe.
Here's a serious question for you but in reality we know the answer in advance. Why doesn't B Hussein O-Bowma surround himself with people of the General's ilk instead of the goons like John Brennan?
Shalom,
Peter

Video: Free Gaza – from Hamas

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu
Follow Israel news on Twitter and Facebook.

A “Free Gaza from Hamas” video intersperses its terror with evidence of plenty of food and merchandise as the government reported on Monday that Hamas still is blocking humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza residents.

The video is a twist on the pro-Hamas and anti-Israel “Free Gaza” movement and calls on the world to support freeing Gaza from the stranglehold of the Hamas terrorist party and army that has ruled Gaza since it wrested power from the rival Fatah faction three years ago. Read Full Story Click Here

Jim what a beautiful voice the gentleman has. I guess we all, including myself, only think of there being one verse, the one we hear all the time. According to Wikipedia there are actually four verses and this former Marine sings the other three. Fantastic!!!!
O! say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

RE: Is thisThe Truth About Muhammad: Is Qur'an a FRAUD ? THE ROAD TO SERFDOM

We should learn from the past not repeat. The current crop of tyrants and social engineers are no better than their predecessors so read and Runaway from these "Progressives" it ain't LOVE they are giving you. It is a sentence to slavery for your children's children. WAKE UP!

THE ROAD TO SERFDOM

by F. A. Hayek
(Condensed version, published in the Reader's Digest, April 1945 edition)
The author has spent about half his adult life in his native Austria, in close touch with German thought, and the other half in the United States and England. In the latter period he has become increasingly convinced that some of the forces which destroyed freedom in Germany are also at work here.

The very magnitude of the outrages committed by the National Socialists has strengthened the
assurance that a totalitarian system cannot happen here. But let us remember that 15 years ago thepossibility of such a thing happening in Germany would have appeared just as fantastic not only to nine-tenths of the Germans themselves, but also to the most hostile foreign observer. There are many features which were then regarded as `typically German' which are now equally familiar in America and England, and many symptoms that point to a further development in the same direction: the increasing veneration for the state, the fatalistic acceptance of `inevitable trends', the enthusiasm for `organization' of everything (we now call it `planning').
The character of the danger is, if possible, even less understood here than it was in Germany.

The supreme tragedy is still not seen that in Germany it was largely people of good will who, by their socialist policies, prepared the way for the forces which stand for everything they detest. Few recognize that the rise of fascism and Marxism was not a reaction against the socialist trends of the preceding period but a necessary outcome of those tendencies. Yet it is significant that many of the leaders of these movements, from Mussolini down (and including Laval and Quisling) began as socialists and ended as fascists or Nazis. In the democracies at present, many who sincerely hate all of Nazism's manifestations are working for ideals whose realization would lead straight to the abhorred tyranny. Most of the people whose views influence developments are in some measure socialists. They believe that our economic life should be `consciously directed' that we should substitute `economic planning' for the competitive system.

Yet is there a greater tragedy imaginable than that, in our
endeavour consciously to shape our future in accordance with high ideals, we should in fact
unwittingly produce the very opposite of what we have been striving for?
