Hi Jo!

My sweet friend, Philoxenia is always open to you. No matter if you are late. We allare busy, with jobs, family and other problems! I am glad to see you here! Thank you for coming in to support and encourage ouf Romanian friend.

Now to Romania not the Empire but the country. In the myths the Argοnauts were the first to visit the country. Jason and the other Greek heroes at their return from Colchis sailed in Danube and westwards and founded some cities.

Your good friend

It is very interesting as per usual.

Hi Georgios
Good topic. Here are some unclear things. Are you talking about a part of Bisantine empire, or about Romania itself?
It is well known, small nations give themself high importance in world history. I know about mine.
Romania has no touch with territory you presented. In a governing sense.
Romania itself as I know is former Dacia, with capital Sarmisegetuza. Roman occupation, made first mix of nations Romano-Dacic. After division of empire Romania belong to Bisantine (East) empire. Mix with slavic migrations (between else), and Christianity, made form of today Romanian nation. As you know there were three provinces Moldova, Valachia and Trnasilvania.
The same people made today's Romania. But history is extremely mixed.
Am I wrong?

Georgios,

Thank you for an informative and interesting posting.

I love to see any forum which brings us together in things we share.

Too many times the differences are stressed. So nice to have good positive facts.
