Hi POTW team!

The winner is announced. A 3-way tie means extra time to let new voters to come in and give the winner. Personally I have Barbara first in my list. I would rank her first  but I gave my list in alphabetic order.

This is not critics for critics. Barb deserves it and thats the reason I had her in my list. What is not fair is that Kathleen herself decided on new criteria not known to others. Such cases can be sensitive and give the upper hand for those who stay critical to POTW.

See to not make such misatkes in future.

That's not new criteria. We've been doing the tie-breaker that way for several months.  When there's a tie, we go thru all the lists and the person who's name is near the top of most lists is the winner.  It was suggested by Joe Downing of BFA, not my own individual idea.  Thanks for your comment.

Here are the tallies:

Barb's name in lists: 7, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2,1 = 16

Beth's name in lists: 1, 7, 5, 3, 2, 6, 3 = 27

Dave's name in lists: 3,1, 4, 6, 6, 4, 5 = 29

No contest. 

Kathleen, believe me, I am happy that Barb won this week.  But I was unaware of how this voting/nomination thing was working.  I never place my nominations according to favorites.  Does anyone??  I will have to read again but is this in your instructions on placing nominations??  If it is, then everything is okay.  If not, it should be because I know I have not been doing it like that. It just seems to me the ties should be up for a vote, not decided like that - just my opinion for whatever that counts.
