Hi, Linda. Sorry I didn't see your feedback note sooner. I wasn't ignoring you.
I went to your site. The layout and color choices are actually quite good. There is an issue though... I think you should break your content up into a few pages then give primary bullet points on your main page and point your users to the full content with a link.
For instance, you might try bullet points like:
Did you know:
-- your bank does not actually lend you MONEY when you buy a house?
-- no actual cash changes hands (from your bank to the seller of your home) when you sign a mortgage?
... and so forth. Break the content into digestible bites (a key points in the content) so that people understand the basic truth you're trying to convey at each point. You will find more people will read your text when you have astounded them with "headlines" then substantiated your headlines with the facts.
In the same way, be careful when you do your Power Point presentation. Too much text will turn readers away. Keep your bullet points short and sweet with Power Point.
You have a terrific niche site here. You should consider adding context ads so that you have another potential income stream. If you don't want lending companies to be listed in the ads, Google (and possibly others) allow you to exclude certain search terms.
Hope there was something useful in this.
Rose
