I and Mary Hofstetter we create a new site " the English and Computer Classes of Skills For Children ". I invite to look a site http://en101.ziby.net . We offer studying the English language, not leaving a house! On this site we want to collect teachers, children and parents. All from them will find the useful and necessary information for itself. I want to hear your critical remarks. Sergey

Greetings Sergey! I commend you in your efforts to spread the English language... My father was Macedonian and lived there until the age of 30 when he emigrated to the United States, and I must say, you're English on the website sounds much like his... My mother, who is Croatian came to the United States when she was 19 and has a much better command of the English language, although people do comment on her accent which I barely notice... American English, as it is spoken and written poses many problems for native Slavic speakers because of the sentence structures and the use of unfamiliar consonants... My father new 7 languages but still struggled with American English until the day he died... He was the most intelligent man I have ever known... I have a degree in English from The Ohio State University and have familiarity with the Cyrillic alphabet and even know a little Russian which I took in college... I did find Russian a bit difficult to master because of the stress emphasis differences on cognates with my natural second language of Macedonian... If I can be of any assistance to you, I would be happy to take some time out of my schedule and consult with you... Good luck on your efforts... Michael

Sergy: It is obvious that I did little to create this site. It is a master mind. I have never seen a layout like this before. You show your computer skills well. As for me, I am still trying to manuver around the internet. Thanks for all your hard work. The way this will work is a modern day wonder of the new technology. I, sitting in northwest Ohio will speak on yahoo and children in Europe, especially Russian children, will hear English spoken without the Russian accent. They will not only learn English but tid bits of information about the English speaking world. For example, the first lesson they will see and hear about the famous painting, "The Blue Boy", painted in England and now housed in USA. The second lesson, they will visit Big Ben in London and then on to the Bahamas. We will use En101 program to begin building the vocabulary and use teen age boys in Russia to translate until they can understand. We will use books on the internet and learn to read together clear across the BIG POND. Our goal is to help individuals, business, teachers and all who want to learn or polish their skills in the use of English. When we are ready to transmit (is that an old term??), we will welcome Adlandpro members to join us. Those in English speaking countries can even be resource people to help teach about your country and show off your brand of English. One World---one Language. free sample just for you.
