Hi Kathy,
Amazing, but having tried just about every free media sourse out there, and my conclusion is that they are all not worth the cost. (g) As example, what is free is usually worthless. There are exeptions though, but you must search for niche sourses to narrow down ad space.
Simply put, what cost nothing produces nothing, especially these days were there are thousands of free ad sites, but most will only add to your spam problems, not get you business. Seriously, how many visit free ad sites other than to place their ad?
The best way is to first identify niche markets where they offer free ads. To place an ad in a medium that is overloaded with thousands of similar ads, your will be lost just like all the rest are. The upgrade at a small fee is the only reason these free ad deals exist.
Here is a tip, no matter what you are selling, do a search, then identify if any searches produce a free ad medium for what you are selling. What I have found useful is to advertise with all the ones that place high in search que. Few will unless they have been around for years, so target these which are on top of search engines are the only ones to waste your time on.
The one that serves my offering best has always been USFREEADS.com Numerous free ads will at least pop up on searches, and this by far is what you want to target. Most free ad sites will rarely place in the top 100K, so why would you waste your time posting your ads there? Use your time as if it was money, don't waste it on all the FFA garbage like sites out there for you will get little more than tons of spam
Good luck to all, Mike
