Well for the newbies first I'd just like to welcome them. One of the places I advertise is in yahoo groups. I am able to average 2 to 3 responses a day. I'll be honest the response rate is based on the subject line, the actual content of the post and then ofcourse the capture page. I post to over 300 groups about 2 times a day and it takes me about 15 minutes. I use a desktop mailer (can not remember were I got it) and ONLY post to groups that allow multiple postings. You can find these groups by searching the groups and reading their RULES. If you post to a group that does not allow ads someone will turn you in for a TOS violation and your entire email account with Yahoo will be deleted with or without warning! I also use several different email accounts just for the reason I mentioned above. It only takes one complaint justified or not. I have not had a problem in the last 14 months and find the groups to be very responsive to certain ads and programs. You might want to know that each site in each network listed on this post has both free classifieds and ffa's. The second is to a daily megasubmitter which enables someone to submit 100 free ads each day to the ENTIRE network! In response to advertising in the yahoo forums........that is exactly the same as spam, when you advertise in the forums you are interfering with people who are looking for comfort from a certain group and often your email goes straight to their email address. I believe this is unfair advertising.....SPAM and as an ethical business person I wouldn't do it. Forums are a great place to develope relationships but spam is spam, don't do it.
