Hi Marilyn,
I was born and raised in Massachusetts and sure am glad that you gave us this History Lesson. Actually, My home town is about eighteen mile from Plymouth Massatusetts. For those of you that have never been to Plymouth Massachusetts, there is an area that is a replica of Colonial Days. The people that guide you around to the various attractions are diect desendents of the Pilgrims.
Now, during the Boston Tea party, there was an Indian that had taken a liking to the taste of Tea. Therefore, before he threw a case of Tea into the Harbor, he would retreive one bag, steep it in a cup of hot water and drink it before he would retrieve another case to through in. He continued to do this throughout the day and late into the night. The following day people were looking everywhere for this one loan Indian. Finally, a young girl smelled this awful stench. She ran back to the others crying. She reported that she had found him. The Governor begged her to tell him where he was. She held her head with one hand and pointed with the other. Through her tears she blurted out, "He's over there. He is dead in his Tea Pee!"
