Re: Tip: How to Create an Effective Sig File

Linda, I used the codes you sent me in my email and it still doesn't work on the last item. I think adland only will allow the 3. Which is strange as some people have many links, of course, they are just typing in their url's. Why would there be a limit using Html Codes and no limit when just typing a sig?

Linda, Looks like your second set worked. We must be only allowed 3 lines in our sig file when we use HTML. :)

Hi! I suspect that there is a "maximum character" setting for signature files, and that's why some of them are getting cut off. Try playing with it a little to see what you can fit it. It makes for creative thinking to keep interesting but short sig files, doesn't it! By the way - find one of Bogdan's posts and look at his sig file. Quite clever, and very effective. (That's why he uses it) : ) Linda

Hi Linda, This is a great tutorial forum. Good on ya! But, I'm curious... why do you keep your url exposed? I know you must have very sound logic behind it, and I wanna know. Bob

Hi: ======================================== This is a great tutorial forum. Good on ya! ======================================== Thanks! ======================================== But, I'm curious... why do you keep your url exposed? I know you must have very sound logic behind it, and I wanna know. ======================================== Umm.... err... well... same reason the television repair man's tv doesn't work? I spend so much time on other people's stuff that mine's usually slotted into last place. Right now, it's really nutty doing Christmas marketing, so it's actually amazing that I even have a sig file. lol. : ) Linda
