Amen, Kathy. God walks with us always and takes us through the difficult times. We do not go through them by ourselves.
Jesus made this clear, too, when he said, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matt 11:29 It is interesting to note that at the time that Jesus said these words, it was common practice to yoke a young ox to an older, stronger ox to train it and guide it in the right path. The bigger ox took most of the load, making the burden on the younger, weaker ox light and easy.
So when we take Jesus' yoke on ourselves, we are not taking on a load, but giving him most of the load to carry!
