Hi Martha, ============= "Quite entertaining, it was." ============= Good to see people have been taking it in the right context. Most of the battle (oops, there's that word again!) is providing something entertaining to attract the spectators. So... are you gonna contact your heavyweight champ? I'm happy to slug it out a full 15 rounds. Then again, he might make some points that I could agree with. Who knows? Left jab, right uppercut, left jab, left jab, right roundhouse - just practicing... I'll go and sit in the blue corner now to await his arrival - LOL! Gary

Gary, ------------------------------------------ "Winston, you really like to arc me up, don't you? ------------------------------------------ Of course I do! :-) ------------------------------------------ You see, everybody that I know who has given the MLM adventure any sort of a shake has come out the other end with a sizeable overdraft. ------------------------------------------- I know a few like this too. (sadly) ------------------------------------------- "OK. I'll make it real simple... ... anybody, who, when EVERYTHING is taken into account (and I mean EVERYTHING - see below at *) makes $1 more than it costs them." ------------------------------------------ Do I dare????? I definitlely fall into your success category. :-) Actually, I've been in the profit area since week one (almost five years now). But I have to add, I haven't followed the typical path that was recommended and was probably my uplines worst nightmare! :-)

Hi Gary, Fuel - We work from home/office Functions - Don't have any to attend Meetings - Don't have any to attend Books - None outside our normal reading habits. Meaning none through upline. Tapes - None Conventions - There is one seminar I'd like to attend some day when I find the time. Time equating to "lost opportunity" - not really sure what you mean by this one. Babysitters - No need for them as we work from home. Purchases - Been included but are minimal. Here's a hoot for ya Gary. Actually, it was the main reason I became a distributor for this company. If all we ever do is use our greeting card service for personal use and never sell our services or promote the mlm side of the business, we will walk away with money in our pockets that would have been lost by not being distributors through our natural expenditures on greeting cards. On average we send about 25 greeting cards a month. That's the joys of being members of families who have Huge families! LOL Gee! I hope that doesn't sound like an ad. LOL It wasn't meant to. Just wanted to show the fiscal sense to us based on our spending habits. Where I can understand where it might be a problem to some, it was a benefit to us to become involved.

Winston, Sounds OK but can you build a big income or is it just a hobby income? ============== "Time equating to "lost opportunity" - not really sure what you mean by this one." ============== .. the time that it takes away from a "normal" job that you would otherwise be earning money with. That is, if you are being paid $20 per hour and you decide to take 2 hours off to attend to your MLM. Let's say the MLM makes you $15 but it costs you $40 in "lost opportunity." The net result is minus $25. False economy. I knew a guy once who drove all the way to a country town to fill up his gas tank with what he thought was cheap gas (we call it petrol, incidentally). Unfortunately, by the time he got back most of the gas had been used. Maybe it was a nice day for a drive. I dunno. To me, that sort of thing just makes no sense at all. Gary
