Hi David: ========================================= To imply that to not cut your traces and leave a seeminly bad MLM program is lacking in good judgement as Linda and Peter have implied is a misunderstanding of the dynamics of MLMs. ========================================= Comprehension is a funny thing, isn't it. I didn't say not leaving is lacking good judgement. At all. Anywhere. 1) Gary asked "what would you do if..." 2) I gave my answer. I said I'd walk... 3) You asked "would I walk if there was $$$ on the table" 4) I replied yes. I have walked away from money I also said I believe we all make decisions to leave something when we're ready to make them, therefore I don't judge anyone. Judge not, lest ye be judged, I believe was the phrase I used.

MLM thread - Playing the ball & playing the (wo)man!

Hi David, I'm with you, my man, on much of what you said but I can't for the life of me see how Winston's words were personal, which goes to prove one thing... ... something that Linda and Peter were talking about in another thread... Perception. In that instance it was used in the term of customers perceiving value. You have perceived something that Winston said was personal. On another matter, you said: ================== "I loose nothing by remaining inactive." ================== Now, I think there was a re-writing of the MLM rules in some "opportunities" wherein it was stated that being inactive for more than 12 months rescinded your rights. Don't quote me on that. I read or heard it somewhere but I can't remember where. Maybe it might be worth investigating. If it is it might also be worth sponsoring your dog or cat, at an appropriate time, just to satisfy that requirement. Heck, they'll probably do about as much as most folk in MLM do anyway - LOL! I appreciate your comments, David. Make no mistake about that. I enjoy reading your thoughts - ESPECIALLY when you agree with ME! big ole LOL! In fact, I'll make this comment again. I respect everybody's opinions. Why? Because they are YOUR opinions. They are correct for you at a certain point in time. They don't necessarily have to be correct for me. And vice-versa. Anybody can play the game with me but nobody should play the man. Just thought of something... where is little Ranunculus in all this? Come hither, come hither, young Heather. I seek thee and thine input in the fray. Gary Simpson

Hi: One other small comment. Perhaps food for thought. ========================================= Now we are getting to the heart of the difference in my opinion between MLMs and standard business practices, the PROMISES. MLMs sell the promise more than the reality. In my case, the money is there, it is in escrow. I earned it, at least 66% of it. It is a binary. One leg took off. The other even after 100 people would not fire. ========================================= What you're talking about, essentially, are broken promises. Anyone who is divorced knows what that feels like. Anyone that's been cheated by a business partner knows what that feels like. Feeling cheated out of what you were promised isn't unique to MLM. Fact is, you have two choices. 1) You can ask yourself what you, personally, can do to make that leg fire.... even if it means taking someone under your wing and teaching them what to do..... or 2) You can walk away, put it behind you and call it a promise that never panned out. To walk the middle risks feeding a bitterness that eventually eats your soul. : ) Linda P.S. And you don't have to defend yourself. No one is attacking you. It's a conversation, not a confrontation. : )

Hi Linda, ====================== Judge not, lest ye be judged, I believe was the phrase I used. ====================== Yes you did. It is a good saying to live by. ================= 3) You asked "would I walk if there was $$$ on the table" ================= Where did I ask that? ================ Comprehension is a funny thing, isn't it. I didn't say not leaving is lacking good judgement. At all. Anywhere. (Yes, you did not say that. I said it was implied.) . . . (earlier you said) (f) Walk away and never look back because time is the only commodity I can never replace, so I wouldn't waste any more of mine on them. If anyone asked why I quit, I would tell them. Otherwise, I would not waste time arguing with people that are still sipping their purple koolaid. ("still sipping purple koolaid" Pretty strong words for those that do not quit as you have done or rather would have done.) . . . (A little later you said) I think walking away from money is walking away from money. MLM or not. ================ I suggest the implication was given that not only was not leaving is a waste of time but likened unto following an occult leader and committing suicide.

Hi Gary, Perception. You will notice I let a smiley at the end of those comments. The thread Winston start was the one you replied to earlier containing the word "Personal" his thread also ended in "Get Over It"! :-) Sounds "Personal" to me :-) No misperception. I am familiar with the MLM and its policies and proceedures. My membership will be terminated in a few months if that miracle does not happen. No need to waste time on it. Yes, where is Heather.
