Hi Jim, Those quote boxes are fun. It's one of the many ad-ons you can put in with the freewebs system. It's still baffling how Pam's SS info got out, maybe from one of the many medical things we have been to lately. It does seem strange to me, being an ex-Brit how every form you have to fill in, the most important piece of information you have about yourself, has to be included. Maybe oneday it will be changed... The virus & phishing info is really rather good & very upto date. The Jerky sites are not yet on the Company pages, but they are in the Newnet friends profile & in the business section there. & here come to think of it. Hi Ellyn. It's no fun wherever the criminals get your info from, either having it stolen in your case. (hope you didn't lose much) Or the strange way they got Pam's. We contacted the police straight away when we received the 'Credit Cards' in the mail (1 for Pam & 1 for this 'other women') We contacted the issuers of the cards & got as much info from them as possible to give to the police. That was how we got 'her' phone number & the date & time she applied for the cards & where. We then got in touch with the SS fraud line, Experian, for the credit check & to put a red flag on Pam's name, security number & any un-authorised credit card usage (It's a bit of a bother having to supply verification each time we use any cards, but better than losing our money) We contacted our Banks, the DMV & every credit card company we already have. It seems like that was all that the 'person' had used Pam's info for was that credit card that was sent here. As for the Dentist, they have just rung to remind me of the 9.30am appointment, as if I needed reminding..... Your security friend in Las Vegas.
