Linda, I not only liked what you said, I loved it. It's consistant with a lot stuff I've been reading about internet marketing. Also, it reminded me of a scam I just avoid. The major point and promise of the scam was that I would be making $5,000 to $10,000 per month in less than a month. That made me I wonder if I could really walk before crawling. Of course, we know that's not possible. But if that amount was the benefit or hook, the complete turn off was when I was told that it would require $385.00 billed to my card to get started. I almost laughed. Enough of that scam. I'm sure you get what I mean. No one, including me, gets to the top without paying their dues. Thank you for allowing me to reply to your informative article. Sincerely, LeBaron Washington

Hi LeBaron; Thanks for joining us here - good to have you. You're very right - there are a LOT of scams out there and a lot of companies (and people) that prey on others who are still vulnerable. I like to compare it to offline. If I went to get a job, no matter what salary they offer me, I should not have to pay to get the job. If I am accepting a job that pays commission only and is dependant on my selling skill, I sure don't expect to pay to take the job. I might want to buy, try or use the product so I can sell it better - but that should be my choice, not a requirement. If I am buying into a company and I will be a shareholder or principle, then I would have to pay, of course. When we look at it that way, it makes things much clearer. At least for me. Hope you enjoy the rest of this forum, too! : ) Linda

Hi LeBaron, I really liked what you said: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LeBaron: "No one, including me, gets to the top without paying their dues." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brilliant! Your little quote explains, very succinctly, why most of these internet plans and schemes simply do not work. They prey upon impatience and greed of the "money for nothing" brigade. I guess there is an element of that in all of us. It also explains why there are so many of these plans and schemes around. Would you mind if I used your quote in my "Zenspirational Thoughts" series?
