Hi Kenneth, You didn,t give any background on this, so it,s hard to evaulate it. Are they coming directly from GDI, or affiliates of GDI? If they are coming from affiliates of the Co, notify GDI & let them know the aff.ID#s. If they are coming directly from GDI & opting out doesn,t work, do a "whois", find out the name of their Host & notify them. Otherwise block their E-mails!
Warm regards, Jr Reedy http://www.Seekye1st.org/

Hi Ken, I'm not been involved with GDI, and it seems thats a good thing, since you cannot get rid of their emails. Here's my take on this situation... You should only have to click on that opt-out link once. And there should be a way to unsubscribe manually from ANY publication. It sounds to me like either they have a glitch in their autoresponder, OR this "error" is on purpose, as a means of manipulation, trying to get people to sign up. (very irritating indeed) I did a little nosing around and since GDI is based in the US (California), they are governed by the FTC regulations. Here's the contact info I found for them: Global Domains International #30019 701 Palomar Airport Rd, Suite 300 Carlsbad, CA 92011 U.S.A. Phone: 760.602.3000 Fax: 760.602.3099 By law, if someone requests to be "unsubscribed", the company must honor the request. They do, however, have 10 business days to honor the request. If you have unsubbed and are still receiving correspondence from them (after 10 business days), they are in violation of the FTC regulations and can be fined. I would suggest contacting the company via telephone, informing them that their unsubscribe link is generating more emails (which could be construed as spam, you have, afterall, opted-out), and that you wish your email to be permanantly removed from their mailing list. Additionally, if you were involved with them as an affiliate, and they have banking info for you, I would make sure to check your accounts regularly for unauthorized transactions. Just a thought... Hope this helps, Lisa :`)

Sometime one has no choice but to be negative. When your expectation are not met and or things are not as it should be. Did they respond to your complaints? Claude

Hey Kenneth, I just had one of those in my inbox today. Seems like they are getting more frequent. I opted out of GDI over a year ago. I don't know what to do about it other than to kindly refuse their offers?! I know there are other measures one could take but it hasn't bothered me enough to take any action.
